Hi All,
I just started my 2nd grow....last grow was 6 months ago and turned out pretty sweet!! Here's my setup:
10' X 10' grow room in basement, 2 windows with cross-ventilation. Growing in soil-less coco mixture called Royal Gold Basement Mix, 3 gallon pots (last time I used 5 gallon but I wanted to conserve space). I have a 1000 Watt HPS but the clones I got a little early and they aren't rooted too well yet so I'm using 4 X 40 Watt flourescent tubes for now. Where I live, it's COLD right now-- I have the windows cracked half open for fresh air, but I'm also running a big space heater that keeps the temps in the room at about 70 (it gets down into the 20's and 30's at night, and with that room having only minimal ventilation from my furnace, it would be below 40 in there for sure without the space heater). Anyhow, I got some great clones from my dispensary-- 2 White Widow that came in rockwool cubes, 2 Royal Purple Kush in soil cubes, and 2 White Berry in soil cubes. When I picked up the clones I was told they had a small drink a couple hours before, so I just put them in the pots in the dry dirt (very dry, the bag was torn open a bit) and watered them about 1/3 gallon each-- is that too much?? The CFL's are as close as they can get, about 1" from the tops. Anyway, after 48 hours that I've had them now, the WW that came in rockwool is doing the best....surprising since I heard that rockwool to soil transplant is the hardest. The white berry looks pretty good except for one that is curling up pretty good and the leaves are hardening?? And the 2 RPK that were supposed to be the best look like CRAP now ;'-( They are extremely drooped over and show no new growth at all. It's been 48 hours as I've said, so I'm sure they're in some shock, but I decided to water them a little more to see if maybe I didn't give them enough the first night. We'll see later tonight if there's any improvement...what do you all think? Anything else you could recommend? Humidity is also low here, around 20-30%, so I put a couple bowls of water in the room that should help. Suggestions/advice is welcome and appreciated!!
