well i experimented my bulb is 1 inch away and my girls have grown a half inch in 24 hours but im ordering a double lamp for them so soon ill have 4 cfl lights going at once this week or next cant wait for the blue missy to grow up im thinking of flowering then when they reach 2 or 3ft next grow will be more berry bomb and blue missy with afghan kush or maybe bubblegum provided i dont kill these to through obsessing with them lol

na the one pictured is a 105w 6400k blue spec the ones in boxes are 125w 2700k red spec's it does get hot but not hot enough from 1inch whilst the bulbs on a can hold it pretty easy it is tolerable. ill extend the gap to 2inch just in case

does anyone know how tall i should let them go before switching to 12/12
you can do 12/12 whenever u want me personally like to wait till they are 2 foot tall or better but i got 9 foot ceilings
how much height u got? that will determine when to switch

7ft man not huge but tolerable lol
well if it was me i would wait till 1 and a half to 2 foot
they can double and even triple in height in flower
and throw all the cfls u can at them even the 23-27 watt work and give better spread of light

that sounds ok my blue missy is 7 inch the now and my berry bomb is 6 n a half so i've got about a foot or so to wait that should'nt take to long with luck hopefully ill get at least a half oz of each lol

i double topped the blue missy so ive got 4 main colas for that so hopefully ill get a oz of that one alone
