Help Clueless

Plants are about five weeks old. I don't have a clue as to why they are so small and appear to be dieing. Also what kind of weed does this look like. The first couple days long stems grow but very little leaves.

probly bad seed to start
maybe over water
only one seed per pot
smaller pots to start
dont get discouared ,like i said you got it to germ,more than some can do on this site,,try ,try and try again

Add looks like it needs more light to that list :mrgreen:
If you really want to keep those plants going get two pots and some decent soil and repot them both (bury them up to the first leaf set to deal with some of the stretching) then move your lights closer or get better lighting.

I used organic choice soil made by miracle grow. It's been over a month and they look scrawny compared to some of the pics I been seeing here. I guess I'll do some more research. Today my first day on this site.

You need to mix a bunch of perlite into the soil to increase drainage and oxygen retention. Looks like you are over watering, it only needs watering 1-2 times per week. They need separate pots and more light.

Fix those things and you should see much improved growth.

hey drama i have a whole bag of MG perlite in my basement..should i mix this with my plants...like my plants are dying but should i still use a little

You can use it, but first you want to rinse the hell out of MG perlite. the MG perlite has hot fertilizer on it and will hurt your plants if not rinsed well.

Rinse and soak for several hours in warm water. Better yet just run down to the store and buy a cheap bag of non Miracle it Grows stuff.
