Also very truemake sure you don't start seeds or clones in FFOF as it might be too hot for seedlings or sprouts
start them in something that's specific for seed starting and then pot them into the FfOF

Nope. One plant per container....Do you have multiple plants in one container?
Exactly ! I use those peat moss starter cubes for my clones to establish in. Once rooted I put them in fox farms. Sometimes I get a little burn from it but they always power right through then thriveAlso very true
Okay I thought so. It looks good my friendThose are bamboo sticks in the big pot holding up all the large branches
This is gonna sound like a noob question, but bionical? What ever you used try to stick with botanical only. It's less harsh on the plants
Those are lovely man! I have perlite and have been mixing my soil with it. I use about 1/3 perlite and 2/3 soil but I'm using miracle grow perlite. I don't know if that makes a difference but it was the only perlite aroundI would reccomend fox farms ocean forest.. it's great shit. Has a very good mix of different soil amendments . You need absolutely nothing other than straight water for first 3 or 4 weeks. Then after that you can still go about 50% on nutes and will do just fine. I love it! Plants love it! Here's my outdoor girl in 15 gallon pot of fox farms OF with extra worm castings and lots o perlite!. Also ? If your ordering soil id also add a bag of perlite to ur order. It's fucking cheap and allows better drainage which in turn allows you to water more often giving the roots plenty of oxygen. Think about it. Poorly drained medium that can only be watered once a week only gets fresh oxygen to the roots once a week....vs getting to water twice or even 3 times a week. I water this outdoor sunset sherbet every other day. If it's reallt hot I water every day. These other pics are my indoor girls almost done with week 4 of flowerView attachment 4002643 View attachment 4002645 View attachment 4002646 View attachment 4002647 er
I doubt it makes a huge difference, I have no idea if low quality perlite exists . And thanks man I can't wait to try them out! Those are lovely man! NO.....The nutrients used and your problem developing. Tell me your getting too much P build up. You applied the bloom feed right at the flip didn't you? That bloom feed is lower in N and higher in P then a feed should be for the first 2-3 weeks of bloom, after the lighting change. Next run, I suggest you keep running the veg till week 3 and then mix the veg and bloom 1:1 (50/50) for week 3 and then go full on bloom nute at week 4..... For now, if you can raise the N by a whole point. You might slow down that yellowing this run. Do not run more Nova then they direct. In fact you might want to reduce that by 25% and run from there. But should I mess with it if it's at 7 to 7.5?
???? Ahhh, I water/feed everyday! I use a metered amount to get me to the next day, at lights on.Looks like nute burn. If your watering multiple times a week that's too much. You should only need to water twice weekly tops. I water about every 5-6 days.
SEE THE POST ABOVE ^^^^^^Very well put. I was fortunate enough to have someone experienced in growing teach me about how less nutes do more. More nutes can create less. Ecspecially with a good quality soil medium. They won't need much more than bring fed once a week AT MOST!

So you think I'm getting too much P build up? And I pretty much applied the bloom about a week maybe 2 after the flip. Was that a mistake? And should I mix the grow and bloom for the next feeding? And also Instead of adding 2 tsp I should add 1 tsp or maybe 1 1/2 tsp?
Thank you guys for all the help! It is greatly appreciated!
Your bud looks amazing man. I can't wait till my first harvest! I hope one day I get to be as knowledgeable about this stuff as you guys are.NO.....The nutrients used and your problem developing. The way I water delivers more 02 to the roots. It also provides the soil "swing" in pH that allows for proper availability of all nutrients across that 24 hr period. This helps the soil to hold it's pH easier and delivers less pH stress to the soil. Soil will swing in pH. It drops around a whole point when you water, and as it dries back out. It will rise back to the soils "normal resting point".
Watering a mass quantity, that keeps the spoil wet for days on end, keeps that soil at a lower pH. This delivers higher amounts of N and limits Ca, P, and Mn uptake while the soils pH is lower then 6.5.
This tends to start many soil pH problems as the limited Ca and such begin to effect the plant and it simply tips the scale and lockouts can begin.
Does your method work? Sure.....It does all the time. It also fails plenty too. So many factors involved. I simply reduce my failure chances by doing it my way. The way that many greenhouse plants are cared for.....Yup. Your right, I ran greenhouses for some years..
Being able to see my plants and "read" what they are doing/need. Allows me to adjust quickly and effectively in case of a problem.

Kinda rare strain - Platinum Banana OG Flat out reeks like a Banana soaked in mixed fuels... Watered/feed everyday!
So is there any need to be using cal mag with the bloom nutes? And how many mls should I use for week 4 of bloom?I have some experience using the floranova
its got more N in it (proportionately) than many/most of the bloom nutes which is part of the reason I like it,
the ratios are almost perfectly balanced and it has almost enough calcium and magnesium where most brands are lacking also
its P is a little high but the N to K ratios are good
floranova bloom 4-8-7 at 9mls
yields
95 ppm N
83ppm P
138ppm K
how much time left before harvest?floranova bloom during flower range would be 7 to 9 mls per gallon
you shouldn't need calmag at all whats so ever
during veg full strength per gallon
floranova grow
6mls per gallon
3mls calmag
1/8 tsp Epsom salt
you got great fertilizer not sure why you cut corners on the soil
you shouldn't fertilize every time
you should;
water only...water only....fertilize.....repeat (fertilize every third)
if they still look hungry fertilize more frequently, for example;
water only..... fertilize.... water only....fertilize (fertilize every other)
make sure when you fertilize/water your getting 20+% run off
so if you water in 1 gallon you should get 3to 4 cups from the bottom of the pot
during veg you shouldn't need to fertilize often when using a quality soil maybe only a couple times max provided you up-pot properly
consider buying foxfarm ocean forest next grow
