HELP, DID I MESS MY PLANT UP? PICS INCLUDED

Hi I am growing:

Strain: Cheese
Setup: 90w CFL Bulb + Atari Wilma 20 Pot Hydroponic
Growing Medium: Aqua Clay Pebbles

Question: I tried to "TOP" the plant so it would give me two main branches instead of one, I was pinching off the growth from the 3rd node but I think I may have pinched too much of the plant off and damaged it. Will this TOPPING work?

Please see pictures too see what the top of the plant looks like where I topped it will this grow normally? First time topping

Whatever you used to top your plant with was dirty. Your plant now has an STD.

Thats exactly what I did, ripped too much of the plant and then it was like really bright green i could see the chlorophyll but when the plant regrew back it grew back almost like a scab going black hopefully it bounces back I have seen new growth around the plant since so its not stunted in any way

the plant looks fine to me I always take a little more off some strain's u can top and they keep growing straight instead of 2 top's

Really?! I've never seen that before. Any plant I ever topped or fimed had grown at least two new tops. I don't see go that could even work....please educate me on this method.

I've top a few plants before and they would still grow straight I don't know y I had one I toped 3 times and it grew with with curves it might have been me but I finally said fuck it and let it go and ended up a male
