Either just let them finish as best they can or cull a few plants. Nice looking girls. You don't need cal-mag every feeding or at all if your ferts have calcium and magnesium in them already.

If its bothering you that much, the only thing you can do is to remove some plants to make room.

Can't help you with the cal-mag thing as I don't use RO water or cal-mag.

you can prune with no detrimental effect to yield if you have over vegetation. i did as much on my scrog because i had to postpone switching to flower by a couple weeks too long... here is a post with pics right after i pruned:

if you are able to move plants out of your setup you can just cull a few as was said and space them out... they will get bigger as they flower...

my problem is i didnt have money at the time so i built what i can
i got some 2x4 and built one big bucket 2 foot wide x 8 feet long
about 18 inches deep i put a couple of legs on it used pond liner
some body gave me some rocks and dirt but none of the 2 was
enough to use on its owen so i filled with the rocks about half way
then i add the dirt i spaced the plants i was trying to do small
plants but it got crazy in there when i put the co2 in i dont want
to pull anything out i might brake roots on the other plants
defcomexperiment you said that they will grow more ? if they do
i hope its in bud ! more flower !

they will continue to get bushier looking, and grow vertically during flower. the buds will displace leaf area giving it a bushier appearance. if you want my most honest opinion from dealing with over veg'd plants already, i would say go ahead and prune them. if you have the means to root some clones, and a way to make a few bucks off em legally i would say do that with your cuttings, otherwise just pitch them. i would just get some sharp scissors, and try to remove about 1/4 of the growth so there is more airflow. my biggest concern about what you have going on is how difficult it would be to take care of pest issues should they arise, or the possibility of humidity problems leading to bud rot... if you can get some oscillating fans going from up above, that would help...

also, just for clarification, when im talking about pruning, up talking about removing growth all around, so it frees up space from bottom to top, im not talking about taking a 1/4 off the top...

either way, its still looking real good!

Take off a few leaves that are shading bud sites so that the light can hit them directly, other than that I think you are fine and will be please with the results as long as they stay healthly. Pray you dont get mites or something like that, but your SOG grow is looking good.

as for the leafs pointing up, they could be praying for magnesium. Check out the plant problems faqs thats where i found that info. I had this prior when i was using distilled water, some cal/mag cleared it up well.

i use cal-mag the thing is im between hydro and soil i made my owen bucket 18" deep i filled it a lil more than 3/4 with rocks then toped it with dirt the feeding packed the the dirt down so i only got about 4" to 5" of dirt only some body told me i ddnt need cal-mag on every feeding but he didnt know about my bucket being filled with 3/4 with rocks should i give them more feed through out the day and add cal-mag ? i go 2 days with out feed and they start to lose a lil color
thanks or the help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah if your bucket is mostly full of rocks then your plants are being starved for nutrients. I mean only a little will hold in your top layer of soil and the rest passes through the rocks pretty quickly. The roots will also be weaving through the rocks searching for water and food, but finding none as it drains very quickly there. unfortunenely now the plants are bound to all the rocks, so transplanting them to 100% soil would be quite a shock. You should do a little research on foilar feeding. it may help you get through the harvest but really im not sure.

Good job, they look really good. And for the record, thick canopy = thick yields, so long as they're lit up well.
