Help ELECTRICITY

I have a buddy that can slow down my meter. He has it slowed down at his house for regular use. been 8 yrs since the slow down of the meter.( NO grow) I was wondering if I wanted to do this would this be safe, safe as in not getting caught by the electric company. My house would be running 6x1000w for flowering and 2 600 for veg, plus pumps and fan and main ac, and another ac unit. I will not be using a stove unless it is a gas stove. No main fridge or maybe a small unit to keep bottle waters and etc. i know alot would say pay the bill, but i was wondering about this route..Please let me know. I will not be living at this house since my real house is next door. This house is for grow only, and maybe a laptop n TV.

Pay your bills or expect to be busted.

I've never heard of anyone doing that before. It will definitely be a risk. But then again sucking up all the energy and paying for it is also suspicious. Be safe.

Doesn't mean they can do squat though. I mean a small electric fire would cover half of that energy usage.

I heard all you have to do is put a big magnet under your electric meter to slow the thing down. Don't say that I told you though

7,200 watts isn't that eye catching. It kind of is though when you have over 80% of the wattage on that time schedule (and nothing on for the other period of time). Since you aren't living in the house, the electric bill is going to be very stable. I know you can't get a search warrant based off of these things, but it's just some things to pay attention too.

I envy that you have a whole house to grow in next door. Just be smart, and have good neighbors.

I think you are at much greater risk tampering with the electricity meter than just running your equiptment and paying the bill. Power usage doesn't get you busted, your mouth does.

I have to say, whenever i read of a big bust, that is to say a dedicated grow house be it in the england or america, it nearly always states that they had been stealing power and the power company caught on.

I have to agree 100% with this point.
On top of growing marijuana illegally you also want to steal power.
Why not break in to your neighbors houses while you're at it? I hear they leave their jewelry laying around.

If you really want to make an impact and not be a douchebag then get yourself a Solar Panel. Depending on when you run your lights there could be times where your dial spins backwards because you are actually generating electricity and putting it back into the grid.

i agree. being greedy is going to get you nowhere, especially when it involves a utility company. They find out, youre screwed. How many bedrooms does it have? it might not seem that suspicious if it looks like a big family could live there. or like that guy said, get a solar panel. you could run a few things off of it at least

Just man up and pay your bill. The power company really doesn't care how much power you use as long as you pay your bills. Think about it, why would they send their customers to jail if they're paying bills on time and not stealing from them. Unless you're using 1.21 gigawatts for your time machine they shouldn't say anything about your power consumption.

Thanks for everyones opinions. I was just seeing about this route because I havent seen anyone go this route. MOST HUGE grow OPS do not slow down their meters. Most of them bypass the meter, meaning they rewired the line before it hits the meter. But i agree w all. PAY YOUR BILL. Thanks
