I left town and I was only planning on being gone for 1 day but I stayed 4 days and when I got back my biggest and most beautiful plant had almost completely dryed up. The soil was dry it hadnt had moisture in at least a day or two so the leaves all sagged down completely against the main stem and some leaves had dryed up to a crisp. The main stem still looks good and stirdy. Is there any chance she might come back or is she dead for sure. I watered yesterday really good and have still seen no changes from her.:wall::-(:-(:-(:-(:-(

It's hard to say. Cannabis is an extremely hearty plant but it uses a lot of water. Give it a couple of days and see if it doesn't perk up a bit. It has been severely stressed at the very least and may take some time to recover if it makes it at all. Sorry about your plant and I hope it makes it.

Water it and it will come right back, shouldn't be dead yet.Give it a bit of water each day, but don't overwater and she'll be perky as ever in a few days.

Thanks man I have accidently done this before but it wasnt as bad as it is now, I hope that she she will perk up by the time her light hours start. Also last night I sprayed here every hour with a mist of water for like six hours. But thanks for your input. +rep

the plant in the pic will bounce back in a few hours after watering.

just give your plant water. DON'T SPRAY IT. the weak plant can't fight any bugs and\or deseases right now and water on the leaves is where they usually start.

Agreed. Just give it water and be patient. It will recover or it won't. Chalk it up to experience and hope for the best. If it was only without water for a couple of days it should be o.k. though. bongsmilie

it depends on many factors like humidity, air circulation, temperature, rootmass and nutrient uptaking abaility.
I can get my coco\perlite (50\50) plants a full week without watering some times. I can get my soil plants go for 2 weeks without watering with no issues at all right now - they are in 25L containers and have planty of space for more roots. (they are at the end of flowering so they won't shoot any tho)

however, I ran a run in summer (really really crappy one. the yield barely justified the electricity bills for the light alone) that got rootbound and needed watering at least once a day. in soil.

I believe soil should be watered once every 5-10 days. if its shorter it needs transplanting.

I snuck a peek on it real fast because it is on dark hours and I felt the leaves, they are completely dry but still green man I hope it doesnt die because it is 1 month old and just showed female preflowers. If it does recover will the stress make it turn hermie?
