I need the drip clean for phosphorus deficiency and salt buildup due to wack ass ph meter. Anyway can you mix cal/mag, nutes, and drip clean? Its for soil and only wanted to do 300 ppm nutes trying to get them to take it up I think I was also lockedout due to ph meter too. Please help!

Ya you can add all three of those products together. When I help people with their lockout problems I have them mix up a normal dose of nutes and then dilute it to 25% strength and run enough through to have at least 30% run off. Perhaps you should post some pics first before you decide it's a lockout sometimes deficiencies can be mistaken as lock outs and vice versa. If you're plant is deficient on Cal-Mag you'll notice purpling on your stems and on the viens of your fan leaves.

Wow. A little demanding for someone asking for help dont ya think?.

If you have salt buildup, why don't you flush with drip clean to address that. Then you can try to correct the deficiency.

Are you sure it is a toxic salt buildup that caused the problem and not the pH issue you mentioned? Were you meeting the nutritional demands of the plant in the first place?

Thanks so much and sorry about being pissed I was just getting frustrated lol. Anyways the reason I'm pretty sure its nute lock because the ph meter has been off for the entire grow. I found out mine was really off we were giving them around 5.6 or maybe even under because ph meter was SO off! I use fabric bags and literally could see salt on outsides but it was hard to see at first. Also two plants fell over.

I did a foliar spray of cal/mag last week with a good ph and they looked much better. The Last watering (3 or 4 days ago) I gave them cal/mag and drip clean because they had the brown calcium spots & signs of magnesium def. L Also the phosphorus deficiency was pretty easy to spot because the leaves get crazy looking and mangled. I foubd out drip clean had phosphorus and potassium so I figured it would help treat the deficiency too. Now this week im all kibds of fcking confused. They are at about 6 weeks flowering. I notice the last few grows when the plant won't use the water up and the bags always heavy that its a lockout right? Or when they fall over? Im taking over someone else's grow and never did anythibg with floranova before.

Im doing ph at 6.3 and runoff last time I did it was 5.9 ahh I wish I seen these reply sooner lol damn. Im really contemplating what to do here. Not to mention my brand new blue lab ph meter isn't wantibg to calibrate and just got it last week.....rough night here in Michigan.

are you calibrating with both the 7 and the 4 PH calibrating fluids. you need both it will get confused if you simply keep trying to run it with the 7

Yes I just learned about calibration how to calibrate with 7 first then 4. Heres a real kicker it won't calibrate now its reading 6.8 for the 7 and 3.8 for the 4 solution. Just got it a blue lab meter last week! Ugh for tonight I got no choice they need water so im going to just get in range of 6.0 - 6.3 and doing 25% strength of nutes, cal/mag, and drip clean.

Thanks so much I'll let everyone know how it goes. I need to learn ALOT more but I am taking over a grow and don't really know what the person was doing besides giving it too low ph.

Then again I really don't know what ppm they were at but every time the previous person seen yellowing they would figure it needs nutes. so I think they over did it on nutes. I think im going to try at 250 or would 300 ppm be better? Aussie have you ever used fkoranova and what are general ppms for week 1 of flowering compared to week 8? Im letting mine go to 10 but don't give them anything last 2 weeks, this is my plan but very open to suggestions.

hey jenbaby i have actually used floranova before and really liked it.
i would give a good flush with plain water and drip clean make sure you get plenty of run off and then i would start feeding between 700 - 1000ppm in flower.

also flroanova has great PH buffers so at that strength it should nearly buffer itself. you should be able to run between 700-1000 all the way through flower with a good week or 2 flush.

Ok wow see I really think the next grow starting with fresh ph meter it should take that amount. Otherwise when it was any higher then like 500 ppm it would shows signs of burn we couldn't get it. I found out meter was bad and technically I think we were giving it a ph of 5.4 or in tgat area. I think it got to acidic and one plant in particular is really stunted and another slow growing. After the drip clean last weak at like 25% strength it had great results and all buds exploded un crystals. Im not 100% but read the phosphorus is used alot in the last few weeks to make the thc? I could be wrong but do wonder what the phosphorus actually does. I use promix soil aim for 6.3 ph just started nutrients myself so im not exactly sure exactly what my friend was doing. They got frustrated lol. I been doing foliar spray of cal/mag and everything turns green a day or two. Have good ventilation and humidity at 30% temp at 79 with co2 at night I keep it 10 degrees cooler.

I will say every time they did nutes I would see bad results and always thought it was to much. He was adamant he was not using nearly as much, as you should be able to. All goes back to water and ph being so acidic? also we use RO water should I always use cal/mag with that?
