So, the ladies are not looking too hot. A lil description of what is going on. I'm a partner on this grow here in North Cali. I come up here 2-3 times a month to help with various things. The ladies have looked great every time I come up but this time when I got here my caramels were droopy and dark green. I thought they just needed a watering, or even maybe had a high nitrogen problem, and would bounce back after watering in the compost tea. Tea got watered in on sunday morning. Little did I know that my partner had been brewing these compost teas and not washing the brewer out. This caused a buildup of all sediment from the tea bags, which, when not in use it just sat and festered. My guess is that it built up a concoction of bad bacteria. This caused this last tea to have a very bad smell to it, at the time, I just blamed the smell on the fish emulsion.
Now with all that said, today when I went out into the garden the majority of the ladies had become lighter green on the tops with the lower portion remained their normal green goddess color. My caramels are what I'm most worried about tho, along with the color difference that the others have, the caramels were very droopy and had some leaf curl. Also, not every caramel is doing this, but the majority is. I included pictures of both.
The row in the middle of the greenhouse is sour d, and has just been lst/topped so that is why she looks weird.
Anyone know whats going on here? Is it the bad tea or something else or a combo or a multiplying effect from several bad teas?
P.S. This is my first post on here. Glad to be a part of the community.
