HELP! First time grower, autoflower

Hello friends, I need advice. I plan own starting my first grow soon, and I am leaning towards autoflowers. I plan on using 5 gal grow bags. I’m thinking of using FFOF, but am worried it may be to much for seedlings. I also was wondering, should I add extra nutes since the soil already has some? Should I just hit the plants with bloom nutes once they start flowering?? Any advice on ANYTHING will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Also.. I plan on growing White widow for my first time, since I have heard it is ideal for a first time grow. Let me know what you all think.

Hey, OP, welcome to RIU!
For the soil and autoflowers. You can use FFOF but put on top of the bag soil for seedlings. Or make a hole solo cup size and feel it with soil for seedlings. So for the first week or two your plant grows in not hot soil. After that you don't need to use nutrients for about 6 weeks. Then use Bloom nutes until harvest.
I can't say anything about the strain though. Ihad never grew one.

I grow autos no problem in ffof mixed with 25% perlite :weed: Only had the tips burn once & that was a finicky strain

Autos don't need 5 gallon pots, 3 gallons should be more than enough. But if that's what you have available I would say just don't fill it to the top. Maybe a little more than half the the pot. My last grow was in a 5 gal fabric pot, after chopping and checking the root system it's a waste of soil. Learn the weight of the pot by lifting it up when the soil is dry and when it's wet so you can get an average of when to water and when not to.
