help friend got busted

My friends home got busted funny thing is equipment was left in tact and the "all the ladies" were gone. my friend found no warrant sure it was was the pigs though. i am confused i was under the impression that everything is to be seized or destroyed. any thoughts?

the cops would never break into a house, take the plants and just leave.
they would definately definately arrest someone.

you think they go back to the station and say "hey we got some marijuana plants, but no one arrested, but oh well, maybe next time"

it gets worse! he didnt get arrested and his friend who coinsidentally was in the drive way when the pigs were there got asked a bunch of questions but wasnt arrested? this is so xxxxin wired twilight zone

1) if it was police all the equipment plus plants will be gone
2)if someone broke in everything would be gone,including electronics scales jewlry,money etc

Does anyone have a clue on "WHY" his equipment wasnt taken/destroyed by the pigs?

Because whoever "robbed" him wanted:
a) him to grow them another crop
b) was his friend, and as others suggest HES lying to you, he knows who took the plants and he just didnt want to split profits...

If you arent in on it so he CANT be scamming you then one of his mates is scamming him.. cops taking plants and leaving equip and no contact details are putting themselves at huge risk to legal action.
