Hey ladies and gents, I have had grows in the past that show no signs of being hermie, but end up with little white seeds in the herb...undeveloped seeds. My question is why did they happen to be a hermie plant without showing me signs such as the yellow banana's. I was so excited up untill harvest thinking i had nice swollen calyx's but in the end there was seeds. Another question is how can I prevent this from happening in the future. Gracias:leaf:

Bagseed i presume, if so you have already got genetic tendencies to be Hermi ! Yellow banana`s ????????? You mean pollen sacs ?

Best/easiest is either start from clone or fem seeds.

Yea and also was there any light leaks or to much stress...


it was prob unstable genetics though.

it was a fem seed with no light leaks but stress from nute burn, none the less i wanted to know how it made seeds without pollen sacks

Fem seeds are not necessarily always going to be TRUE girls.

But in saying that SOME SEED BANKS have this issue pop up more than others, where did ya get it ?

you had sacks, weather you could see them or not is a different story. Some will form in the crux of the bud.

alright... im gonna pull my scope out now and take a peek at my babies that should be finished up in the next few weeks and make sure they dont do the same

yeah I got the same problem now on my first grow!! my plants have been through cold temps during the seedlings stage, heat stress, nute def...., over watering, under watering, ect.... they have had a rough life so far and out of 10 I cut down 3 males and I think i have 2 or 3 hermies now!!! but I cloned the females and planted 5 master kush, and 5 skunk #1.... so i'm hoping my next grow will turn out better seeing how i learned alot from the mistakes i've made during this grow!!

even if u dont have pollen sacks, you still may get seeds from OTHER males in the area, plant pollen can travel a long way.... and can get blown around ur house for months after it gets in there...

a marijuana plant cannot reproduce without a viable male and female....

i dont believe in the christian religion so i dont believe in getting knocked up with out the chick coppin some dick....and ur fem plants wont get seeds with out some pollen in the air....
