Help from the Bubbleheads?

Hi Guys,

I just wanted to say I have read Roseman's tutorial maybe 1000 times so far.....lol and i still have a question for you bubble heads.

When i presoak my Rockwool at 5.0 ph, they make it to about 8 Hrs and fall apart and start to stink like sewer water, can anyone tell me if they have had this problem and if so how did u correct it. I dont want to loose my seeds before i even start my grow. Maybee its my city water? It comes out of the tap at 8.9

rockwool absorbs water really fast no need for 8 hours your water is too acidic get it down and only dampen the rockwool dont even soak it

i was going to say the same thing.

your water sounds really bad.I soak for 1-3 hours in good water ph 5.6, then shake out all that water stick it with a nice clone and give them a little drink of low nute water at 5.8 ph. sounds like you need to get some better water.
