I'm of the theory that switching to flowering is a stress on the plant and so is transplanting so I try not to do both at the same time. Do one and then a week later do the other.

No they don't have to die, MG isn't poison. What do you want? Do you want to add nutes or do you just want to put the plant in the dirt and let it grow?

i want what works best if you were in my situation what would you do with that one plant transplant it or use nutes??? if nutes i will use fox farm.... (big bloom)? *(flowering) is that right or is big bloom for veg???

If it were me, I would use some Pro-Mix from Home Depot and Fox Farm Nutes: Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom.

That Pro-Mix already has lime, peat, perlite, etc and no nutes. You control everything.

they wont die n the miracle grow but u may have to flush the soil. But if u r going to switch i had great results when i switched 2 scotts potting soil. although fox farms is the best

i'll probably buy only one nute formula only for flowering which would you pref.
Fox Farms Big Bloom - about 10-12 bucks a qt.

Scott's is everywhere. They recently bought Miracle-Gro so watch out for those damned nutes they shove into everything. When I first started I bought some MG perlite and they even put nutes into that. Sweet Christ but they are nute happy.

ok cooker. sorry for the delay here. i agree with picasso here, that you don't want to freak your plant out immediately preflower. 2.5 gallon is fine for now. if you haven't yet, I would flush that soil with about 7 gallons of water. that will both chill out the soil if it's too hot and also rinse all your built-up salts to prevent lock-out. this is something i do at least once during veg and once during flower.

next, feed it a mild nutrient solution of foxfarm or whatever bloom fert you'd like, preferably something organic, make sure she's perking up, and work up on that nutrient solution until she's happy (probably < 1 week) and then send her into flower.

MG usually isn't death for a plant - from the extreme variety of stories i've heard - overnutrition, etc. - my assumption is that some strains can hang and some can't. I've got a nitrogen sensitive strain right now, so I can relate ... burned the crap out of it some time ago with some guano!

Anyway, that's my 2c. good luck.

it's up to you. i reckon it'll be fine either way as long as you give her a good flush when it's light.
