Well here ya go friend, There is a organic product A little pricy but reallllllllly good stuff. NOt an insecticed not toxic to humans. Try az-max. use as a drench in the soil. The larve wont feed on your roots they starve to death before turning into flys. This leaves little nitrogen bursts in your soil for your plant to feed on. The fungus ( algea) that the flys feed on becomes inedable to the fly so it starves as well. no new eggs. It deforms their wings and they don't fly to naboring plants. They hang out till they die. This stuff can be used as a drench, a foliar, or sprayed on the surface soil as a preventative. Leave your extra mixed Az-max in a bucket mixed with vinigar It will have hundreds of dead flys in it when you return. Also check the thread on cali-clean made in your kitchen with 5 small habeneros, This stuff is the absolute VERY best for spider mites. And it kills fungus nat flys instantly on contact . It HEALS bug chewed plants like liquid bandaid. and can be used right up to day of harvest doesnt screw your bud up at all, or flavor it, if you keep it off the buds itself.
Also see above about less water and drying it out fungus nats will not live, breed or perpetuate in a inapropriet enviroment. Make it Inapropriete, so they don't re- manifest themselfs. They eat algea, Where there is moisture and algea, like what grows on your delta cubes durring cloning fungus nats will gather, keep in mind these fly in. But mostly you bring them in, bagged soil has fungus nats and their larve and eggs properly nuke your soil and this will eliminate this. I drench a tub o soil every time i buy a bag and let it dry before using it. ONce again Az-max for the drench.
