Help Getting rid of dog. +Rep

Ok this is going to sound a little gay but do you know who Cesar Milan is? Dude LOVES pits and has two dog rehabilitation centers in Cali that he keeps packs of roughly 20 dogs at each. We watch his show a lot and people are always giving him dogs they can't handle (not saying you can't). Anyway he matches up these dogs with new owners or he keeps them in his pack. He uses the pack to rehabilitate problem dogs. Might be an option for you as you're in California.

Otherwise find a friend or a shelter. Also if you're moving out of your mom's house and he's lived there, she won't take him?

And check this, you are a dog owner, you can't live at a place that won't allow dogs. Don't look at places that don't allow dogs. Duh. Find a new place. I have a dog and I wouldn't give him up cause the landlord said no dice. I'd say fuck off, I'll find a place that will allow him. But then again I REALLY DO love my dog with all my heart. I'd live in my damn car before I'd part with my buddy

maybe someone did use it as a status at some point...this was just on the local news channel a week or so ago. it was really sad. they had the lady and her family on tv and they were so upset

Anyway you guys are all WAY to critical about this. I'm fucking 18 years old and I'm moving out of my mothers house. GIVE ME a BREAK. I love my dog with all my heart. But i have prerogatives and im getting on my feet. I have more time to get him to a good home now, about a week. The point is my landlord/roomate wont have it. NO DOGS. So please people, help me out with a little more info =]

if you care so little about the dog, just do what you want and give the dog to a good no kill shelter.
if he's a good dog he'll get adopted.
it's your choice, but you will never forget making it.
