So I have around 3-4 grows under my belt, 2 successful 1 decent and some trouble along the way,
so i started cloning using simply just water
These are 4 clones of an unknown bag seed are about 2-3 weeks old
these are 4 clones taken about a week ago and just starting to root
And this beauty is the mother of those clones above, but she to is a clone a 2nd generation clone to be exact, she is currently in my temporary grow location, my closet which is split by a sheet of black and white poly hanging on a coat hanger, with a 60 watt bulb above it because I have this in my tent
So here's where I need Help,I just finished building my own Flood table system my tub is 2ftx 20inches with a 10 gallon Rubbermaid roughneck for reservoir, an I'm planing on using Lucas formula since its what i know works, an I'm trying to do 8-10 plants in 4inch pots with hydroton, i did a test run, to see my water comes up to about 3inches up the pot leaving a dry 1inch or so of hydroton.
I'm wondering if I'm using just hydroton will this cause the clones to almost like float a little? It's sounds like a dumb question but i need to know
Also i keep my tent very clean, but the thing is a dust magnet, I clean it as often as I can but i was just wondering if dust gets on my flood table will this effect the water, I'm not talking about penny sized dust bunnys but small specs, that my fall from time to time, what problems could arise?
I plan on tossing my vegging clones the 2-3week old, on the table as soon as possible, I was waiting till they get about 6inches, an with my perpetual growing i was hoping only to use the full Lucas 8-16 in my table so I can just easily move plants from cloner with neropane collar, to the veg bucket with neropane collars, than to the 4 inch pots on the table.
I was wondering if full strength would cause any damage to younger clones with smaller root systems?
