Whatsup, so I had 5 purple bud from sensi seeds, 3 NL x BB from world of seeds. All germinated no bother. I planted them outside in plastic cups and soil. I covered them all in tops of plastic bottles or clear plastic cups with ventilation holes cut in them. I left one with nothing. Most of them sprouted except the one I left incovered, some fell over in the wind and died and i came back to find more and more of them had had half it dissapeared just a little stem sticking up out of the soil no leaves... After more kept dying off there where 3 left, i brought the healtiest looking to my friends to sit it in the window and have been afraid to bring it back outside in case it dies, the other 2 looked like they seen better days. The 3 where on there 2nd node where the 1st set of 3 leaves come out at the time and the plant is now doing well in the window on its 5th node topped at the 3rd. Came back the next day one of the others had died leaving 1 outside. That died soon after from no water. Iv since got 3 GSC from fastbud and one of there stardawg and put them under a clear plastic storage box with holes cut in the side for air vent in there pots already germinated with copper wire on the floor around the pots as I heard this keeps away slugs. Some how the stardawg still fell over and one of the GSC never sprouted the other 2 took over a week to sprout above soil and the last time I was up 3 days ago they had there 1 set of 2 soft edged leaves. I'm going to go check them tomorrow but I'm not feeling optimistic haha I also have 3 super bud auto from greenhouse seeds in the post along with a propagation dome/tray, 5cm rockwool cubes and coco jiffys. Hoping the propagation tray will act as a greenhouse and a barrier from pests as the climate in Ireland is cold and I think maybe this is why the seedlings are dying? Anyone able to help me please and thanks???

Looks like a blister not a sex organ. But my eyes are terrible.
That's what we think it looks like too a little blister there kinda clear colour, is that a bad thing if so how can it be treated? Didn't know plants could get blisters

I don't recall ever seeing that on a plant. I wouldn't sweat it though.

Hello no that bump on the stalk is not a male pollen sack. What are your current outside temps for lows and highs. And as far as the leaf material disappearing I would say you have some sort of animal eating your tasty young plants. I would keep the plants inside until they are about the current size they are now and then slowly introduce them to the sun light. After a week or so of mostly shaded life outside they will be ready for full direct sunlight.
I can't really have all the plants inside only the 2 we have here any more is a bit dodgy.. Do u think the propagation dome till help? We get up to about 25°c on a really really good day but more commonly around 15°c. Night times can be warm enough some nights but others can be fairly cold

They need co2 so they will need air flow to stay alive not much at such a young age. And yes if it's below 54 degrees Fahrenheit you will have very little plant growth
I was thinking of cutting one or longish wholes in the sides to allow a small bit of wind for air circulation but not full on wind because the wind can be quite strong sometimes. Do u think this is a good idea or will the 2 vents on the top be enough?

Besides your temperature issue ....it's always better IMO to let the plants get larger and well established before leaving them outside ....putting seedlings out is a dinner bell to anything that likes tasty little plant treats ....not to mention the elements on a little plant ....GL
I was hoping the propagator would keep out pest as well as acting as a greenhouse as I really can't have any more plants in the house than one or 2 its not my house its my friends

I feel ya ...damn slugs/snails ate most of my pumpkin seedlings this year ...little basterds.
I ended up cutting the small end off a solo cup and covering the rest of my pumpkin seedlings ....for some reason it worked ....put some snail bait pellets out ...and by the time the seedling popped out of the cup ...all seemed ok ...((shruggs))
Next time,Is it possible for you to get some well established clones you can harden off in a shady spot for a while?....then put them in your actual grow spot.

I have been following a YouTube channel called guerillas in the Eire they have plants in the ground from as small as 3 or 4 nodes and others 8 ft tall, I don't know how he's doing it the taller plant is over 2 months and is little over a foot or 2. I didn't really wanna use the snail pellets don't want any chance of my plant taking in slug killer if I'm gonna be smoking it haha

Just checked up on the other 2 gsc they're doing alright, look healty, I'll get pics the next day. But they where planted the 27th June their only on the 1st set of pointy leafs with only one leaf seems to be going abit slow..
Anyone have any recommendations on feeding sceduals? I have the bio buzz scedual but I read a lot of these forums that said not to listen to them. I know I'm to start light and build up but I don't know how often and when to start with the seedlings. Just started the 2 in the pics gave them about .3ml to a liter of water of root juice and .3 bio grow. When should I feed nutes again and should I continue to feed root juice? I origionaly thought you feed it continuously but the biobizz chart says the 1st week only? A bit confused guys

I had that, one of my first IG posts. I thought it mean't it was a male at first, being new to the game I was so eager to see a plant show sex that I was convinced it might be nards. It was a large plant too and I only had it appear on one branch site.

Anyway, it's nothing. 2 days from now (or when it goes into bloom, could be that) it'll become a new branch site and the bump will go away. It's just a new growth developing at the node.
Thanks man got a bit worried when I seen them thought it was a male, found some tiny growths coming out of the side of the bump where preflowers tend to show up looks like it could be a female, not very visible to the naked eye its tiny hopefully in a week or so ill be able to tell

crush some egg shells to a powder,,make a ring around your soil about 3inches away from stalk,,that take care of snails and grubs,they feed at night,they donrt like light at all,,they then go back into the soil when the sun comes up,,most likely rats are eating your leaves,set a trap and see what happens,,have a buddy growing green on you tube,,he had a rat entering his 65 gallon bags,told him same thing,sure enough 3 days later got the bastard,,when using compost from your kitchen and dinner table,you have to let it fully compost before using it,,as far as your feed ,never use recomended dose,start at 1/4 strength and work your way up to the tip burns and back off just a hair,,as the plant matures a bit,,bring it up slowly again and do same thing,,as far as your soil,,i cant answer you,,i use ocean forest from seed to harvest,or my own built soil,,i only use water in veg and in flower i use botanicare soil pro,then every other week i use kool bloom,,so cant help you there,,seems to me your main problem is your not hardening the plants off before you stick them in the sun,,you can also gently put a stake in there to hold them up,,but they got to handle the wind by them self come flower time,unless you scrog and from your sitiution that aint gonna happen,,anyway hope this helps,,kill them damn rats ,they will eat that whole plant roots and all
And I wanted to clone the 2 tops off them where they where topped but as far as i know the changing in light here switches the plants into flowering about mid august which wouldn't have gave them mutch time to grow I'd imagine they'd end up fairly small
Thanks for the info man I'll start collecting up the egg shels, I have a 5 liter bottle covering one plant and a clear plastic storage container covering the other, I'm hoping this will keep the rats away from them (they can't get at it from under either its all sitting on a base in pots). I have another 3 super bud autos on the way and my propigator and rockwool cubes have just arrived today. Was gonna germinate the new ones in rock wool and throw them in the propagation dome down at the spot to act as a greenhouse to rise temps and act as a pest barrier till they got a few nodes high, there isn't much shaded areas around my spot if I was to throw a clear plastic sheet over the dome would that effectively shade it a bit?
