i dont remember what the genetic make up of N.L was....that was my first grow way back in the day man. Like before I even got out of highschool in my first actual home that I could call MINE!
maybe thats why Ive always been so fond of it...
but honestly from a big critique and bud connaisseur, its some of the tastiest smoke youll ever get your hands on, PERIOD.
It lacks a bit in potency though but its still a good bud to start with.
Very forgiving while its a growing plant as well.

as far as being a bit small thats all to do with your veg time man, the longer you veg it the bigger it will be and the more bud there will be to harvest(also more damn leaves to trim....)
but thats with any weed not just the northern lights strain.

this is what seeds man said about it
The genetics of Northern Lights is one of the most confused of all existing cannabis seeds strains because there is no one who can take entire credit for its creation. Northern Lights was developed as an indoor cannabisseed strain in the late 1970s near Seattle in Washington, although the genetics involved in the cross were known to have come from California - the original home of a great many of the most famous cannabis seeds strains. It was initially a stabilised cannabis sativa strain crossed with an Afghani indica hybrid.
Northern Lights travelled to Holland as a clone where it was introduced to the commercial cannabis seed market in 1985 by The Seed Bank.
Because it arrived as a clone it could not be inbred for stability and cannabis seed production, therefore Skunk No 1 and Original Haze were used to produce seeds off it so it could be used as a parent plant.
Northern Lights distinctly shows its Afghani indica genetic background; it is a small plant that produces, big highly resinous flowers. Although it was initially developed for indoor growers excellent results have been produced outside.Northern Lights has a sweet resinous taste and produces a physical comfortable but lazy feeling, known to some as ‘couch lock’.

and they are close to dead on about the way it feels. The indica stone is DEFIANTLY present in this strain to me

What are the specs on the large fan leaves in above pic. I would look on the bottom of that leave.
those are crystals of thc on the big ass leaves. they have just as much concentration as the little one (well they did in my N.L grow) but they are spread out farther

I'm still lovin' the thought of a guy tending his girls naked. Right on! I'm also thinking how funny it would be if my husband saw me out in the greenhouse naked tending the plants. He'd think I'd lost it...but if I put an outdoor shower over by the greenhouse this summer....hmmmmmm.
LOL...glad you like it! When I first started reading that post I thought it was a guy....got weirded out for a second....till I saw the huby part. We should start a movement! Outdoor showers are where its at.:hump:
