What the heck are these pod like things mixed into my buds? is this thing part male? Two plants two weeks into flowering, bagseed, fox farm soil, 400w MH, using Beastie Bloom, one of them is just fine, a very healthy girl. this other one has nice buds forming but has these wierd pods mixed into the flowers. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Well i cant get a good pic of my problem. Does anyone out there have a picture of a herrmie plant? please.

google for a hermie plant. then trash your plant into the garbage. Unless you like hermies.

A trick you can use is called 'snippin balls.' Cut, if you can, every ballsack you see. It's difficult, but if it's all you got, it's all you got. You get a decent plant, but not a powerful female plant.

where did you get your seeds? As per the pods, I dunno. Pics would be nice. Are you plants the same strain?

Ahhh blasphemy! Damn hermies. Just pulled two last night. Were up to five feet with pretty looking buds and then, balls. lots and lots of tiny balls. Dumped them, smoked a fat bowl and looked forward to the two, definite females, "Big Bud" plants. I'm lucky I had the back up. Hope you got another girl in the garden.

Yeah, bro. That's a hermie. It's both pollen balls and pistles. Found another two today. My crop is down to two Big Bud (both are definetly fems) and one sativa (so far, out of four Sativa seedlings I got 2 hermies, one male, and waiting on the last sativa to show its sex). keep me posted.

I may be wrong but I believe female plants have a tear drop looking thing, some one posted their plant yesterday and hair were coming right out of it.The last bag of train wreck I had was full of them. They were not seeds or pollen sacks.I think some people are jumping the gun telling people they have hermies and males.

There are actually two types of hermaphroditic plants. What you have, could be hermaphrodite, but too early to tell. Anyone saying "throw them out" must have never smoked any. Keep them separate from your fems and harvest as normal and you'll have a nice supply of smoke that will still do the trick. Maybe not as well as a female, but good none-the-less.bongsmilie The other type is called an "inter-sexed" :eyesmoke:plant. It starts out VERY female, and then just before harvest, you start seeing little yellow "nanners" (bananas) (see pic below). Heshe was very good smoke as well. On your plant, master mioda, is still too early to tell. But as I said earlier, DO NOT THROW THEM AWAY. What BIGMIKE13 is showing you, IS a hermaphroditic plant. So there's your picture for reference. Good luck and just remember, even the male has SOME THC:roll:, so you can use any plant. All said and done...do what you're doing, get input and make up your own mind. Make this a fun thing, it's not a job. Good luck wandica.:bigjoint::weed::joint:

MALE POTENCY
The male plant is not a best smoke but enought to get yu stoned ( if yu dont have high tolerance ) or if yu do, then yu have to smoke just more ;) or make hash of the stash..

This however may not always be the case. Some strains have male plants
that produce more THC than other males of a different strain.
Sometimes the male can be stronger than a female from another weak
strain. Most male plants from good genetics are stronger than the
Ruderalis female. Males can be smoked or made into hash oil. Simply
wait until the plant is flowering and then clip the top 6 to 12 inches of
the plant away and remove the leaves. Throwaway any stems and
branches. Cure these leaves and then find out for yourself if the male is
any good or not. You may be in for a surprise. :peace:bongsmilie:mrgreen::bigjoint:
