Hi guys im going to really appreciate the advice you can give im a newbie grower just started out, got this cutting at the begging of the week, put it into 18/6 veg under a 300w cfl vegging bulb. i have a 7" fan blowing onto the plant and also an extract fan to help with air circulation tmep is around 30c.

The problem is the top leafs were burnt after the first night so i trimmed them off and moved the light up, its now 7" away from the top of the plant, but the leafs and stalks are thin and the plant is quite stretched over on one side, but all the leafs are quite droopy looking. i will post a few pics just not sure if im killing them or they're supposed to be like this.

Thank you guys!!:eyesmoke:

hmmm...its too small to make a detailed assumption of whats wrong but something is, it looks a lil wispy and deformed but not dead...i dont know what ur doing to get it back on track but if i was you id: monitor humidity so its 50-70%..dont give it any nutes or anything , just water until it roots...dont trim of top leafs anymore. as a rule of thumb from what ive seen if a plants is dead it will die within a few hours, it wilts wilts wilts and then next thing u know, shes layin on the soil, this one isnt that bad...

looks like you have been over watering... idk its a crappy pic so its hard to tell, when they are that small you need little air movement, just enough so that the leaves barely move. also no nutes and water when the soil/roots are dry once every 2-3 days

If its a fresh cutting, it could still be trying to develop a root system, so if you flood it with light it will use up what resources it has in its leaves since there are not sufficient roots to uptake new nutrients.
Cuttings/Clones take a little extra TLC in the beginning before they show actual growth.
