Just moved up the feeding using Athena pro and grotek cal mag ppm at 980 ph 5.9then today I drained 1/3 of water and down to 820 but any ideas where to start the roots seem ok there white this is first RDWC it’s the pa hydroponics 13 gal fallponics thanks In advance

so there 6 weeks old have done light nutrients and 2 weeks ago started seeing the spoofing or rust like spots appear and spoke with someone about how I filtered my water and had only 40 ppm after and possibly taking out the calcium and magnesium I need from it (or I think I’m no expert) so that’s when I went from just Athena pro Grow and Core(all it calls for) to also adding growtek cal mag it says use at 1 to 1-1/2 teaspoons per gallon I went with 1 and seemed to help and ppm at 520 I was also told possibly increase feeding so moved to normal feed this time and still same cal mag and about 2-3 days after water change they seemed kind of wilted and then noticed the leaves more today

6 weeks into the grow I would think one would be up to a full dose of feed, and off the light feeds for weeks now. Don’t make the same mistake with the one in back. (Up the ppm each week by 100ppm of base nutrition. Be consistent with supplements.) take what’s in parentheses with a grain of salt as I grow in soil..
If I’m way off just send me to the corner lol

The one in back started at the same time had it too low I think and stayed too wet I moved it up and it started going finally

So once the leaves get damaged it doesn’t go back to nice and green it basically scars I guess you could say?? Also I increased the feeding so think that might have done it sense basically all that changed

Yep the new growth should start to come in and stay nice and lush as long as everything is dialed in. You will be fine plucking the damaged leaves or just leave them for now until they crisp up and die.

RDWC shows signs of deficiency fast. If I take too long during my flush and water swap, I will have slightly yellow tips the next day.

Thanks everyone for the help I really hope it’s just the leaves that were showing the cal mag deficiency dying off like said above and does make sense but thanks again I will update day by day

Seem to be doing ok the leaves seem to have some yellowing to them still but growing fast again
