Help: I use marijuana, go to college, and can't find a job, worried about drug test

Yes very sad but so very true, but yet at the same time there are many of us that have flipped the tables and are coming out of the dark and were starting to go the other way.

It just pisses me off that they continue to spend my tax dollars on a worthless war. Go spend your money on terrorists and meth heads and people that have real problems, not people that smoke a plant that heals not kills.

Not even married and I was able to get a domestic partner through her work, get on her dental, health, prescription coverage.

If it's urine testing you can buy synthetic urine at most head shops or truck stops, even porn stores. They have a mouth wash for mouth swabbing. Depending on your weight marijuana can stay in system for 60 days, the fatter you are the longer it will remain.

Ya, even in legal states they will be testing for marijuana, almost every single employer whether government or private has to to test because their insurance companies force them to. Drug testing will only expand and be more consistent in the future, it's an easy way for employers to "weed" out(no pun intended) drug users who could be liabilities.

Captaincaveman has it right. Sorry for the rest of the assholes like giggles on here, seems they have more time to shoot their mouth then to grow or help others with problems.

I'd rather be my own boss, set my own hours, make as much as I want, I have benefits, my benefits include paid whenever I wanted paid, vacation when I want, insurance, health coverage for my family, a retirement fund and a shit ton of stocks and cds in the bank.

So I guess to each their own, have fun always reporting to someone. I don't know about you but I'm quite alright with reporting to myself and no one else and still having all the benefits of working for the man.

I used marijuana once excessively. I ended up laughing for 15 minutes straight.

Fact is if you want a good job you may have to clean up for 30 days or so. Lots of us had to do it before, time keeps ticking and before you know it you're back to being able to smoke ganja. If all you wanna do is get high go wash dishes or toss pizza, after awhile you end up watching your friends build real lives while you bus their dirty dishes off the table. Atleast you're high while doing it though right?

bro keep smoking! You will stop when you want a job bad enough. If they do oral Swab, just don't smoke for 24hrs. I made a thread about my drug test.

But I've been weed free for 4 days and going. Put in for a job at $30 start, so I was like-for $30 hr I'll stop, because I don't want to fuck anything up for this job. If I do get hired it will be about a month or so before I would take a piss test. And I'm going to start my own Garden and landscape soon. And see how it goes, as I've been in that game for 15yrs

Last place I applied, they said "there's a background check and drug screening, and the job is yours." I said "Oh, never mind. I've got a few felonies, and I'm a daily Cannabis user." They still offered me the position. Don't count that as the norm. though!


My feeling is this guy should smoke a bowl. Either you can survive in college without the job -- so toke up. Or, you need the job to survive, but are asking people for positive affirmation to quit smoking for a job. Dude, toke up.
