Help...I'm in over my head.

I'm only a third year grower so please be patient.... I've got an outdoor grow which consists of 40 plants pack into roughly 120 sq. foot hoop house. 15 of those are in a 5x8 space. Needless to say it didn't take long for me to realize I was going to have an issue with overcrowding. The four plants that are along the hoop house wall are the most impacted. There's my question.....should I trim those branches off? Their gutting smushed against the plastic pretty good. I've thought about opening the side of the hoop house as to let them bush out. Also, their in pre-flower right now. I've got pics of anyone's interested.
Any help would be most helpful. Thx!

What size planters? If you can lift them, I'd put some outside the greenhouse or build another one. If they're that tight it may be a mold/mildew issue in a month or 2.

Ugh, no planters, no planters boxes. I planted them straight into the dirt. Here's a pic of what it looks like

I didn't consider the mold issue... I thought about pulling off the wall as to let it vent and give it a bit of room but I'm thinking I need to cut off some branches?

If that's your last resort maybe but extending the sides or rolling up the wall would be more beneficial I'd imagine. Funny I knew a couple Dahlquists back in Jersey lol, any relation?

Im giving you your first like along with a suggestion to chop, thin out or aggressively prune back. F'ing with the plants health through crowding, lack of light, poor ventilation invites compromised plant defenses and opens the grow to likelihood of pests and disease like Super nut mentions

Not directly but you never know.....I think I'm gonna try to roll up the wall, I hate to cut off branches......thx for the reply. I appreciate it!

Those are excellent points. I'm actually going to thin them out and roll up the sidewall. As I said before, they're in pre-flower right now. I guess it's now or never.
I've learned a valuable lesson for sure

That's what I thought it was lol. I have fans in 2 greenhouses but not the 3rd because I don't want to run a 100 foot extension lol. The fans come in handy in the wet season especially
Lol, nailed it. I hate the extension cords but it is a must. You mentioned your greenhouse's, got another question. I just added some 50 watt cob LEDS, (I loose a lot of light come September) I'm using them for some supplemental light for 6-8 hours a day. Is this okay? What do you think?

Sounds good. I only really lose light towards late October. And that's usually to fog. I am going to run supplemental lights during fog hours in winter. I heard good things about cobs.

I didn't even think of cloudy days. hmmmm. Sometimes it can be grey for days or weeks here starting in fall.

We get some rainy days in fall but it's usually not enough of a stretch to warrant breaking out the lights. In winter for sure though. Can't see my mailbox from my front door most days.
