HELP!!! I'm Pulling My Hair Out Trying To Figure This Out. (pics included)

Hello, I've been growing organic for about two years now. I harvest perpetually every month. I've been using the full line up of Blue Mountain Organics (BMO) for quite some time now, and until recently have not had any problems. The leaves first starting losing color and turning a light yellow. Now the leaves are starting to get crunchy and turn brown. I am in the 5th week of flower. I really would like to know what is going on with my plants Let's start with my setup:

Strain:

  • Nirvana's Bubblicious

Soil:

  • 1 bag FFOF
  • 1 bag FFLW
  • 1 cup Happy Frog Fruit and Flower
  • 2 cups dolomite.
All of this is blended together.

Pots:

  • Veg in 2 gallon pots
  • Flower in 7 gallon pots.
Lighting:

  • 18/6 in veg under a 4 tube 2' T5 light.
  • 12/12 in flower under a 400 watt hps hortilux bulb.
Nutrients: (note: 5tsp of CalMag is added to the water since I only use RO water)

  • Veg

  1. 1/2 oz. Grow it Green per gallon of water fed weekly from week two until week 4 when it is moved into flower. Each plant is fed 1/2 gallon per week.
  2. Supplemented with 1/2 oz Super Plant Tonic per gallon every other week.
  • Flower

  1. 1/2 oz. Flower Power per gallon of water fed weekly from week 4-12. Each plant is fed 1 gallon per week.
  2. Supplemented with 1/2 oz Grow it Green per gallon in weeks 5-12.
  • Questions (Any and all help would be greatly appreciated)

  1. Am I overfeeding my plants or are they being underfed? I know that is supposed to be hard to nutrient burn your plants using organic teas, but I am not sure.
  2. This looks like an iron deficiency, but I know that it is hard to get that. I checked the runoff and it was PH neutral. Am I having some sort of PH lockout?
  3. Could I be using too much dolomite in the soil mix?
  4. Is this a Phosphorus deficiency?
  5. Am I losing my mind? (just kidding on this one, haha)P1010437.jpgP1010441.jpgP1010439.jpgP1010438.jpgP1010434.jpgP1010436.jpgP1010435.jpgP1010440.jpg

And I hope you meant 5ml calmag per gallon. Not 5tsp per gallon. That would nuke a plant and make them look like yours. I would flush the shit out of them.

It looks like a phosphorous deficiency to me. Notice that while the leaves yellow, the main veins appear to retain some of their color? I see a lot of node stretching as well....

I use CaMg+ by General Organics. It's the recommended light dose. I don't use CalMag, I'm just stoned and confused the two.

lookslike ntregon def with the new pics.. and ph problems
So you think that I'm not giving the plant enough nitrogen so I should add more organic nutrients? I was thinking that I was going to burn my plants, but maybe I'm just underfeeding?

I was kinda thinking that too. Maybe I just need to add a lot more nutrients than I have been using. I guess I'm just underfeeding, right?

what is the N.P.K of your nutes. you want a higher P and K then N but you do need to feed them nitregonduring flower also.. not as high of numer as the P and K.i use the bat guano or alaskan fish frtalizer during flower with mybloom nutes.

The NPK of my nutes are:

Grow it Green: 5-2-5

Flower Power: 1-8-7

Super Plant Tonic: Just good bacteria

Also the NPK of the Happy Frog fertilizer that I add to the soil mix is 5-8-4

to me it looks like a lock out.....u have a K def due to using too much magnesium and calcium
or ur light is way too close
have u grown this strain before?

Do you think I should cut down the amount of dolomite I use in the soil mix?

My light is 8-9" above the tops of the plants. I have a 440cfm turbine running through the hood and the light is cool to the touch.

Yes I have grown this strain before and I have had varying results. This is probably the 8th time I've flowered this strain out. I feel like I don't know what I'm doing anymore...

home depot has cheap soil test pH meters. Ask for a moisture meter in the garden dept.....my soil pH of this same strain growing was just at over 8 and looked similar to what yours does. It caused a nutrient lockout and fucked my plants up but it looked damn close to what yours do. Whats your pH at?

I actually own one of those. The PH says 8. I thought that PH didn't really matter in organic soil grows?

no,just dont supplement for those nutrients(cal/mag) until they r needed
and yes i think ph matters

ph deffinitly matters. The nutrients-specifically nitrogen isnt being absorbed. I would throw some ph down into your next watering to get the pH down to below 7 atleast. I watered with pH 5 water and ill be damned if today there not back up to 7 again........

I am the first to say im a bit new with organics but the mix your using is the same mix im trying witch came out of a hightimes magazine a few years back and it was called the moonshine mans mix. Anyways I know that this mix is rich and all I have to do is transplant so is the reason you us extra nutrients is because your plants show signs of needing it because other wise I would just flush out your pots and go from there.

I usually don't use the BMO nutes until the plants start to show signs of needing it. I think I'm going to try flushing with PH adjusted water.
