HELP its getting cold tonight!

tonight its already 30 degrees. im thinking about driving into the mountain and chopping em but they need to flower longer. i put a bunch of leaves and branches around them to insulate the roots and the weather forcast for the next week is nice but i dont know

should i be worried?

i had a plant outside at +5 degrees and it survived unharmed hehe, you should be fine

check your weather forcast to see what the low is supposed to be

go put something over it like black garbage bags or a rubbermaid or garbage can or etc and youll be fine. no need to chop yet, frost is what normally gets you, not cold. Well, in my experience at least,first few grows i had plants in winter in my basement and it would get down to lower 40's, sometimes upper-mid 30's when it was like 20 below outside and they were fine.

grow early outdoor strains next time.

have used pvc pipe and fittings to make a small enclosure and wraped it in clear pastic sheeting. helps out when you must worry about frost or rain. just leave bottom few inches open to allow for some air flow.

bring them a Snuggie and some hot cocoa!
