Help. I've NO idea what the hells going on.

Hi, all. Im not a newbie to growing indoors. BUT I'm stummped this time. Room is more than big enough for the 4 girls. I grow in just perlite with clay balls on bottom of the pots. Under 4 / 6oo watt lights, a 4 pot system. Its a reticualting system. Use good quality nuitrients. Maximum reading never over 1800 ppm. Use Microbial as root conditioner. Good quality clones. Correct hours of lighting G. = 18 / 6. F. 12 / 12. Have direct intake of external air source. Charcoal air filter for exhaust. Now the problem is. The grow cycle is fine. The begining of the flower cycle is fine. BUT they simply refuse to produce any thc or resin etc etc. They are so bad the buds dont even smell of anything. Smokes like ya front lawn. . Ive started this thread to use everyones brains to solve my problem. And yes im desperate, ive been doing this for years and NEVER come across this and now its happened twice. Thanks for any help. Hopefully someone has had the same problem and has an answer for me, ive nearly no hair left to pull out.

I would say it would have to be genetics and your dry cure method. Try a different strain and your problem should get better. Some strains just don't get very frosty. As far as smell and taste that come from a proper dry and cure method

What's your flowering time frame??

it will have that "hay" grass freshly cut smell until you dry and cure

I'm pretty new, but from my extensive research 1800 ppm is almost double the highest you want to go.just a thought.

Genetics are White widow x Big Bud from good company.

1800 is when its been at its worse its generally not over 1200 ppm

Yes i understand. But when dried correctly cured properly etc etc. Its tastes like lawn clippings. Has NO smell even when rubbed too bits with your fingers. And if you could find the time to smoke a lb of the shit in 5 mins ya maybe be in lala land for 2-3 minutes.

i usually do a 3-4 week grow then a 10 week flower.

Im hoping genetics will play a part but its happened with 2 diff clone types.

If you haven't ran it before I would say bunk genetics

PICS in future i got so frustrated i when crazy with the shears threw it all into a garbage bag went behind a store n threw it in the bin. Its like growing something that looks exactly like hooch ( dope ) but smells like O smokes like old socks with a hint of lawn clippings. Dont suggest drinking whisky with it ha ha ha ha i'll just end up drunk. There is NO effect from smoking it. Pics cant show that

Happened twice with 2 diff types of clone strains. From diff places.

Im going to try 4 diff strains and this time from seed from good company etc. Going to redo everything pots hoses pump brain only keeping the resevouir. Got new nutrients 2 part grow 2 part flower. Ill flush more often. Thats all i got left in my arsenal im afraid. It may have been salt lock up ?? but i cant see that. Anyway ill continue to read n reply thanks for the help. Is it possible i may have a virus or bacterial infection of ?? sort. I cleaned the pots when i went again only with hot water though. AAAGGGHHHHH lol. Ill also post how i go and if i solved the problem. Thanks

Im starting to think ya right although 1800 is high it only did that once then was flushed its usually 1200 ppm

Have a few XXX's and be patient.....Solid strains should help......whats the room temps during flower? Are the buds tight or loose? Trich's turning tan?

1800 isn't high enough to cause that. That's genetics . plants look healthy otherwise?
