You need to ph. That off the bat is a big redflag. And is it potting soil or just dirt from outside. Cause that could be another issues as well.

You need to also get a soil moisture meter. Water when dry. Don't go half way, ph and temp are huge. You need to know both. It could be a temp or ph issue. We do not know casue you do not know. Get a ph meter, soil moisture meter and a temperature guage. Other wise you will have poor results and issues like you are having.

I'll post pics in a min. and my soil is foxfarms. the ph isnt really that big of an issue right now, and you Do Not need to know the ph and the temp, although it helps so much you don't NEED it. the majority of my nutes are ph neutral. plus its sunday the local hydro stores are closed on sundays. can i get a ph meter at kmart? or some shitty place like that?
im still working on getting my space enclosed. the meter is the very next thing on my list. and reccomendations?
i wanted to get a 3-in-1, but idk.
