Help, leaves are so yellow.

You can not use only the major nutrients NPK in hydro without minor nutrients. Further running 1400 PPM is far to many of the major nutrients.

You are missing iron, copper, manganese etc... Either transplant to soil and continue mixing your own nutrients or move to a hydroponic formula that contains all the micronutrients you need.

I run 50/50 coco/xlg perlite and use 3 part General Hydroponics Flora Series according to their drain to waste chart. You can grow good plants in either.

Here are mine a day or so ago, Coco/Perlite with GH Flora Series.

I just ordered the micronutrients so hopefully that will fix things. And your plants look so nice, I wish I had the luxury of getting the good premade formulas but they dont sell them here.

That's not a problem but in the meantime I'd suggest you move to a soil rescue now. When your plants get larger cut clones (so you aren't losing genetics) and start running tests of your own mixed nutrients on the clones. There's no pain associated with killing a clone, as long as you have more of them.

Sadly they are autoflower.

I don't think I'm smarter and its definitely 1400 ec. I'll start turning up the water again. Thanks.
Nope try again...perhaps 1.4 (note the decimal point). That would be around 700 ppm
JD

edit...so I realized from your posts that you don't understand that EC and PPM are different measurements. Yes they both measure nute strengths...but to us literal minded sorts 1400 ec is nonsense.

Doing some research I think it is nutrient lockout due to high sodium in my unrinsed coco coir that I bought from a local market in Bangkok. I'll be the first one to call myself stupid.

Mario...I've been growing in coco for over a decade...and saw lots of problems from sodium. Not sure the plant would have survived that long...if your coco was that bad. But it may be a lockout from too much food.

I'm going to start a flush today, from your personal experience do you think they will survive? I'll document it if you are interested.

Mario,
Be sure you have something in the flush water...1/4 nutes will do...or calmag. Flush with at 3 times pot volume. Then reduce nutes...never give straight water. Don't let them dry completely...water at least every other day. Yes I think they will do OK if you do that.

What I meant was with excess salt in coco...they usually die in seedling stage.

I too would have expected the Na to have taken them out far earlier. I hope he lets us know if flushing solves it.
