HELP. leaves curling up and drooping

i dont know what exactly it could be.. ive tried to to my research but came up empty handed.
what i am seeing is most of the top leaves curling up and in while drooping down.

ive tried to narrow it down but it seems like it could be something else or a combination of issues. i recently changed to a 1000 w light and it seemed to be fine until couple days ago. i also changed the nutes to a 1/2 strength since my babies are about a month into veg. the temps are usually between 69-82 depending on the day or if the light is on. the only things is seems like it could be to me is overwatering/underwatering, heat stress, light burn or nute burn. the light is at least 2.5 ft away in a reflector w ducting and a fan blowing hot air thru. ill try to get a picture soon but hopefully someone can assist me

well im not sure but it sounds like overwatering. put ur finger 3 inches down into soil, if its dry water it, if its damp then deeper down where the roots are is still very wet. remember the water goes to the bottom of the pot so make sure the topsoil is crusty bout a inch down befor u water.probly every 2-3 days depending on ur soil

i am using an flood and drain hydroponic system with rock wool, which can hold alot of water. this is kind of confusing me because some of the plants look good and some of them are starting to dry up and get brittle at the top.

Curling down is over fed, and curling up is either lack of food, lack of oxygen, or over heating.

well some leaves look nute burned and some top leaves look heat burned. the temp is no more then 84 at its highest, would that affect it? also, im not sure on the humidity but the ph is at around 6. i want to try to keep a cup of water next to the plants.. do you think that would help?

high humidity in veggy - low humidity in bloom - your plants seem to me to be not getting enough air to roots or your overwatering- simples:P

HEAT BRN comes from lights too close, not the room temp.
Your 84 is jsut fine.

ph is great.

I sit several strafoam cups of water near my plants and I lay several dish rags or face cloths, that are rolled up like a cigar and asaoking wet, near my plants.
I also hang a soaking wet bath towel from a clothes hanger, dripping in a bucket, near my plants.

maybe. it is about 2- 2.5 feet away in a reflector. and what i meant by blowing hot air thru is that a fan is blowing into the reflector and the duct carries it away from the grow area

i will try to get pics soon. im going to try to raise the light when i get back from work. my friend said he flushed them with clean water in case of any nute lock. i will also give them a feed tonight

any other suggestions? i moved the light up about half a foot more and i tried to cut back on the nutes and let them use the water from the rock wool.

what i dont understand is how my other plants look fine and then some are being affected... the leaves on some plants look yellow, dry and curl down.. they seem to be affected toward the middle of the leaf or the outer edges.

I would try the flush, maybe with mild clearex or someyhing then re water with a mild solution. move the plants to the outside of your light area. did you just put these plants in or on other rockwool??

Without a picture it sounds like a zinc issue. Now I can’t tell you if you have to much (lock out) or to little. What I would tell you is most likely it is too much. Just feed with regular water (ph treated) for a little while. The unfortunate thing about this situation is the plant has a really hard time coming back from this. I know that isn’t what you wanted to hear, but that’s the word bro. You can keep digging but I am sure it will go back to that. I have had this problem twice in my history. Good luck.
