i had got these cuttings from a local dispensary then put the straight into the rockwool. i think i figured it out though. the problem seemed to start happening when i turned the nutes up, but i hadnt considered that i got the cuttings at different times over a 2 week span. i had also changed my light from 175w mh to 1000w hps, so i was unsure if it was too much light (heat or light burn) or from the nutrients being a higher strength. after a couple more days i noticed my bigger plants growing as usual, and the smaller plants still showing symptoms. ive come to the conclusion that it wasnt from the light change, but from the nutes. i think im going to add an equal amount of water to dilute it to a 2/3 of the soultion since i had it at 1/2 before this. that way it is less than what it is now, but more than the first feed.Without a picture it sounds like a zinc issue. Now I cant tell you if you have to much (lock out) or to little. What I would tell you is most likely it is too much. Just feed with regular water (ph treated) for a little while. The unfortunate thing about this situation is the plant has a really hard time coming back from this. I know that isnt what you wanted to hear, but thats the word bro. You can keep digging but I am sure it will go back to that. I have had this problem twice in my history. Good luck.
i appreciate the help. all your suggestions made me do more research until i found more discription of each symptom. also gave me the chance to learn more grow knowledge . I apologize for the no pictures, i keep my light on while im awake and turn it off while i sleep, and while the light on it prevents from pictures being taken on my cell phone. i still have things i need to invest in to get more out of my crop, a digital camera is definitly one of them so i can see day by day results.
