some of the leaves on my plant are starting to twist up. i just got this plant from a friend about a week ago. it was drooping when i first got it. i transplanted it into better soil and the leaves perked up and it strarted growing strong until yesterday. the second is my own seed that just sprouted and shot up over an inch and a quarter in the first 24 hours after 3 days or germination. what could be causing this any help would be greatly apperciated. the first pic was from 2 days ago the rest are todays pics. Thanks i know you'll be able to help.

Too much water by the looks of it, let the soil dry out slightly between watering.
You can put them as close as 2 or 3 inches to the flouros.
Also could be fertilizing too early.
Need more info if this doesn't help.
What Lights.
What soil.
What Nutes.
How mant hours under lights.

Either your plant doesn't like its growing mediums pH, or your over fertilizing it (if you're feeding). That's my first impression of it.

Sorry for the original lack of info i posted right before i passed out last night. i am not feeding any nutes right now. im using 4- 4 foot t5 HO flouros, 6500k and are about 4in. off the plant, the soil is a mix of premium seed starting soil, and perlite. i am watering every other day to much possibly? lights are currently on 24/7 i was going to leave them on for another 2 weeks. the ease it down to 18/6. thanks for you time and help everyone it will be greatly appreciated.

yea I've always used 18/6 for everything other than flowering. Although a test done a few years back did show that the best light schedule for best root and canopy growth is 20/4
24/0 is commonly used, but like mr west said, everything likes a little rest (plants don't actually need it, but I like to think they like it, and according to that test a few years back, it obviously benefits them.

If your not feeding. Check the pH of your medium. And yea every second day is possibly too often. Remember to wait for the bottom of the pot to dry out, not just the top of the soil.

Cheers mate. Good luck

here are a few more pics i shot today. the first is what the plant orginally looked like when i got it from a friend about a week and a half ago. pretty sad. when i came home from work the leaves didn't appear to be as tightly twisted as this morning and the upper leaves are all quite a bit perkier and seem to be doing fine. i have not watered since sunday morning. the seedling is in two and looks good.

well things have been looking up. the leaves that were twisted are looking good and the newer leaves are filling in quickly. it looks like my main problem was just overwatering apperently every other day was still to much, havent watered since sunday and the containers are quite a bit lighter when you pick them up. im now going to let the soil dry out pretty thorough in between waterings. here are a few more pics. everything seems to be back on track. what do you guys think. ALSO THANKS FOR EVERYONES INPUT AND ADVICE. it is greatly appreciated. i will keep you all posted on future progress. thanks again!
