Would like to help you but all I see are leaves.

Is there some bud-like growth in the nodes? If so, a close-up picture of that bud would help tremendously to identify whether its just a leaf primodia or pre-flower (male or female).

If all you're showing is the plant then there's no way to tell whether its a male or female. Either way, dont sweat it, if its a female the white pistils would be noticeable. You wont need a magnifying glass to see that its a female. If you dont see white hairs and there is a ball shape growth on the nodes then most likely its a male.

You just have to be patience and wait it out.

Well, maybe others have better eyes than me

Sorry, but dont see sign of preflower. Usually preflower buds would appear somewhere below the shoots. Your pic is the shoot of the plant.

But dont sweat it, when it pre-flower you will know, that's how obvious it is.

Nice plant btw

You have an outdoor plant, I'm not sure what are the variables involve regarding preflower. As to size, relative to the size of mature outdoor plants, looks like yours is still too young to be sexually mature.

Hope one of the outdoor guys here can chime in and share their experience with you.

Size has nothing to do with showing sex .....a plant can be 10ft tall before it shows it's sex ......when the seasons change and bloom begins is when you'll know ....shorter days are what trigger this .....just gotta cross your fingers and wait it out ...GL

Op don't bet the farm on it ( my eyes are not as good as they once was lol ) but on the 1st pic , third node down, to the right where leave attaches to stem I thought I saw what appears to be a little spade / upside down teardrop female pre-flower ? It is hard to tell from the pic , but I would inspect that area a little closer and see if that is indeed what it is.

Sorry H-Town I can't tell from the pic, I don't see any pre-flowers in that photo. I would just keep an eye out on all the node sections where the leaves meet the stems that is usually where they will first appear. In my experiences males have always flashed their parts before the ladies ( go figure ) ..But I would just keep an eye out in those area's for any signs of little spade shaped growth with white ( pistils / hairs ) popping out [ Female ] or a little green crab claw looking ball attached to a stick protruding from the stem [ Male ] . I would think if it's not already showing signs of sex it should be very soon at about 5-7 wks in , if it's going to. Good Luck :eyesmoke:
