Yeah, the biggest complaints involve light bleaching because they didn't get their spacing right.
I'm looking forward to it. The day is coming soon when there will be a great reckoning in my grow room and then there will be nothing but COBs....
Bonjour mes amis!
I am sooooo agree with you on this one!
I understand why company make small panels to fit the center of the box!
But when you see the results some have with only one cob...and the max spread of a cxa/b 3070/3590 and V29!
You wonder why peoples don't spread their lights uniformly!
A cxb 3590 @1400mA can light a 2x2 area...not so well on the side but it can...a 1.5x1.5 area is easy to light with one so why put it closer to each other...it should be 1.5 fett between each to use all the light of your expensive cxb...I have a moby dick at 4 inch from the cob and no problems (it is the highest bud of all) it is more logical to me to think that if I have 4 light sources I split the box in 4...and I will do the same in the 4x4...I will start with 9 and split it in 9...nine part with a cob in the middle of each part...to finish with 16 cxb...one over each sq/ft...literally!
It is full of good photon...but like for the Ghostbusters! it is not good to cross it too much!
