ok so i started growing in my closet like 3 weeks ago and i am having problems keeping my grow groom cool, i have my lights on at night but my grow rooms temperatures still rise to 34 Celsius which is like 93 Fahrenheit and i am still using 40 watts when i tried to move 120 watts my grow rooms temperatures went up to 37 Celsius which is around 99 Fahrenheit. i have to constantly put bottles of ice in there to keep the temps low but its to much of a hassle cuz i need to change the bottles like every 4 hours. i have tired putting a stronger fan but it dose no good i know indeed more air circulation but i dont have ideas on how to do so. plz help my plant is already showing sighs of heat stress, and i need to move to 120 watts as soon as possible.

here are some pics of the closet to give you an idea of what i am growing in.

Don't see any exhaust or intakes in the pictures. You need to bring fresh air in at the bottom and exhaust hot air out the top. Bathroom fart fans work awesome for this.

That's what I thought but I only have one bathroom fan and I am not sure if it even works. Do you think only an intake fan would work

Put a heater in a closet, turn it on - what do you think will happen?

Now, think about this, same as above, but now you have a fresh in intake, and a exhaust (to take the heater air away) - what do you think will happen?

Any fan will work, get creative. For a closet you want the fan to exhaust though. So figure out a way to push hot air out and let the cool air be sucked in. That would be an active exhaust and a passive intake. Best setup for a closet.

sauna.jpg Top and bottom vent on door would be easy fix. Get another little fan to draw air in at the bottom,,,use other fan to push hot air out on top

yep as stated above you need to exhaust from the highest point you can (heat rises) this will push hot air out and naturally cooler air will replace it. make sure you get permission before cutting anything. (if you do not own what your cutting)

You are not sucking the hot air out, so it's going to be hot.

You need a carbon filter kit to remove the odor.

go buy a cheapo 6" duct booster fan ($30-40) and cut a hole in the top of the closet or in the wall and just suck the air out into another room/attic/out window. Besides doing that u are never going to disperse enough heat to run any real light

I'm using 2 - 6 inch computer cooling fans hooked up to CPU power supply, intake bottom blowing on res keeps around <15deg. f, exhaust out the top, Giving me the option of more fans and less power usage, You can find most parts in old computers. Have to tinker with the hook ups but otherwise quiet, low elec, and more efficient than my light fan.
