Help me Decide - Is 20 Too Many?

Hello All, I have been wanting to buy seeds now for about 2yrs but have never gotten enough courage to actually go ahead and do it because i was in college and didnt want to mess that up. well i have finally graduated and got my own place so i can finally do this. Well i have been doing my research and found that Attitude seeds seems to be the best choice to go through. I have decided on gettin the most expensive shipping to help ensure they make it to me. I have chosen everything i want to buy and am ready to order but an still nervous about this do you guys think 20 seeds is alot to have shipped? think i should drop it to 10 or 15?

What do you think of my order? Any suggestions? I am not planning on using them all at once since this is only for me, I just figure get everything I want at once and not have to stress out like this for a very long time.

why do u need so many plants , 5 LSD seeds when grown out big will provide you with an easy month - 2 month supply of weed . if you grow sativa plants usually u get bigger plants with higher yields. if this is your first grow i strongly advise u grow the same genetics. ie : 5 raw diesel plants or 5 LSD or 5 Snow whites.i know u want to try them all but each strain has different requirements which will mean lots of work for u figuring out what each strain needs. and if you grew all of those you'd have a big smell and ud need LOTS of space and equipment unless ur outdoors

Thanks sensi. I have never ordered before so i wasn't sure on what to get so i thought might as well get a little of each so i wouldnt have to buy again for a very long time. To be safe i will go with just the Barneys Farm LSD for now and see how it goes.

Barneys Farm do have some very good genetics, and i'm really happy you chose the LSD strain because i want to grow LSD next so it will be very interesting currently i'm Growing Barneys Farm - Blue Cheese. Are you goinjg to be growing indoors or out , soil or hydro ? i'm subscribed and will be around often if you need any help mate

im on my first grow now and i got 20 seeds to grow cuz i wanted a forrest and tons of smoke but once I acually planted relized i was way ahead of my self and dropped it to 5 plants withch from what i heard is plenty to get high for a while.

when i first started out i also had great plans for many plants .... then i realised 1) a large grow costs large money 2) makes you more vulnerable to the evil eye and 3)i read about the genetics i wanted to use and realised i could grow 1 KG in a 1 M squared area - more than enough for me between grows

I already placed my order, That always happens to me. Do you guys think it would be risky to place an order 2 weeks apart from eachother? I was thinkin a small order just 5, I was looking at the green house sativa mix, They all look wonderful When i first saw everything i go a little overboard with my order and basically got my dream list. Besides the LSD i also got 1 super lemon haze seed to check out. I figure it would be nice to addition. Im thinkin 2 lsd, and 1 lemon haze. Im doing indoors soil, and this will be my first REAL grow, I have had crappy seed attempts using bad mersh seeds that always turned out to be males. I lives where its a very rare occasion if good stuff comes around, Only dirt. Thank you sensi I really could use the help, Id really like to grow some killer stuff. Only killer stuff that EVER comes around here is northern lights and thats only once every few months for like a week and it runs out.

Hey Phil, have you ever considered giving money to a friend and having him order them to his address ?Much safer .One thing to bear in mind is sativas are more tree-like in nature they get very big and need lots of root space and growing room .If thats not an issue go for it id love to see some lemon haze in action

Also i understand ur problem, most growers get into it for lack of quality weed and also WHY PAY ? god put weed on this earth for all mankind to enjoy. its not as enjoyable when u have to pay

Most of the friends i have don't know i smoke, and the ones that do are too paranoid having seeds sent to there house. They think the CIA will come swarm down in helicopers, and tanks will come rumbling down the road. so im stuck, IDK what else to do, and getting a PO I have read can lead to more problems because its fed property. I dont live in a city where you can rent boxes from 3rd party companies. Im not getting them sent to my grow though. My grow doesn't have boxes. I can go as high as 6 feet, mabe 7 (excluding the lights, and hangers) in the space I have, Do you think that is good for Super lemon haze, or even barney farms LSD? I have been reading grow journals on other sites, and msg boards post about lsd, and most people that have grown it seem to have small areas. What do you think is a good strain for a beginner to start out with? Should i start them both at the same time or should i wait till ones done to start the other?

I can tell you now barneys LSD wont reach higher than 3ft at full maturity. it is indica biased so it would be a typically more straightforward , easy to grow plant with VERY potent buds - Ideal for the beginner grower . The hazes and sativas in general are more difficult to grow , require more space and are a bit more tempramental overall in my opinion anyway (i do advise seeking the opinions of others still).On the flipside they do offer a more "multi-dimensional" high that i love just as much as indicas. I would stick with the LSD to start off with and gain your own working knowledge of growing before moving on to the more complicated strains.(indicas are more resistant to a beginners mistakes )

20 isn't too many. I wouldn't do much more than that per order though, just in case.

I wouldn't worry too much being that no one has EVER been busted for buying seeds online. Also if you want the best genetics for a really good price go to www.sanniesshop.com. I would stay away from barneys farm, I've heard of hermies and they don't respond to e-mails asking questions.

Ford when i first created the post i didn't make the order yet, After reading a few posts, and talkin to sensi i placed the order shortly after (Kind of excited to place the order, strains like the ones on tude don't EVER come around me so i was quick to place the order). When i first created my order list of what i wanted i selected a bunch of diff strains totaling 20 seeds. I didn't know how many was too many so i figured id ask people that know there stuff. I decided to go with 10 seeds because 10 might make it better than 20 would.


Sensi i am goin to take your advise and start with the LSD than see how it goes and get some knowledge on growing than plant my super lemon. I very excited to try an award winning plant but don't want to kill such a beautiful plant (Seems like murder) with my lack of know how so ill wait till i get good or atleast ok.

Also Phil if u rele do want to grow that lemon haze look into a technique calles LST (Low Stress Training)

also grizzdude is right if u find the right seedshop they sometimes give u the option of more stealthy packaging like cd cases etc

Hey sensi what do you think is the best way to germinate? I watched a video and the guy in the video puts the seeds in to distilled water for 2 days in a dark area, Normally what i do is put the seeds in a damp paper towel then let sit in a bag for 2days in the cabinet. Is one way better then the other. I also have another question, Have you ever tried the peat discs to put a germinated seed in to start it off? Normally i just put the germinated seeds in to a soil mixture then let it grow. I am just trying to figure everything out so when i get my babies i do it the right way and dont kill any of them. Thanks again for ALL of your help. Sorry for the newbie questions.

to be honest a seed is a seed and it will act like it would and sprout just like it would in nature if it were in soil. Theres a lot of debate, i used moist paper towels in a bag in a warm dark place personally although if i'm honest im not sure of all the difference it makes. i think the warmth definately promoted rapid root growth in the very early stages but thats about all i can note. The biggest thing is not disturbing the young seed (germinating seed) in its early stages of life. My next grow im going to pop it straight into the soil and see what happens but as long as it sprouts i guess you were successful lol .
