Help me design my dresser?

hi this is going to be my first grow i have a cabinet thats 58" tall 31" wide and 16" deep . i have a kinda tight budget . about 100$ . . i have some pc fans and about 6 13w cfl . i want to make a veg and flower chamber any idea's on what lights i should use i need to provide smoke for 3 people in my house . .

Do you have a plan for exhaust and a bit-o-odor control? You'll likely need splitters to handle 2 bulbs each and larger wattage bulbs, too...which will mean a bit more heat to get rid of. Ideally I'd use a 250 HID system with cooling and exhaust, but that is way over budget.

i ve been looking at cfl bulbs but the 100 watt ones will that be any good ?

you want to grow smoke for 3 people in a small dresser with a 100$ budget useing CLF and PC fan`s

no really you need to do some more research unless them 3 people only smoke half a gram a week each ..

this is what you might get away with for 100$



but to grow smoke for 3 IMO you would need atlest 400$ and get sumthing like this:



in a small dresser like yours a 250W would be max IMO and with a cool tube and a good 4" ventilation/filter you might be able to grow 2 nice Auto`s or similar and pull a few OZ every seccon month`s

I'm with the others yielding enough smoke for 3 people is not going to happen with a cfl set up, your budget is far to low you may be able to get some but you will be fighting a losing battle with your budget every day, there are certain things that are must haves and I'm afraid that your budget would barley be enough to cover them let alone good equipment. I have a 5 foot by 2.5 foot by 8-9 foot closet and i had 8 100 watt cfls in there and it was way to hot i had to vent it, as far as your question about light bulbs goes you would want 100 watt equivalents or 23-27 actual watt cfls, as far as the spectrum goes you need 2700k for flowering and 6500k for veg, also those 13 watt cfls are useless.

Check out www.seemorebuds.com His book will show you exactly step by step how to grow up to and over a pound of smokeable bud in 80 days using Miracle Gro soil, perlite and 8 42 watt CFL's for the whole grow. In fact, I am using his method right now in a similar "dresser" setup. I have lots of pics just let me know if this helps...

I agree with Slip. You can watch SeeMore and you have little to lose, but time. If you're successful fine. If not save up and go for a better system...and have the other two contribute to the cause

i cant just use CFL for Veg then buy a cheap HPS for flower?
im all new to this growing so yeah ill proably have more than 100$ if i really need to id try to make it cheap as possible thoe.

You can flower with a 42 watt cfl as long as it is at least 2700k. This type of light is a warm light spectrum. Usually you will use lights that are more from the blue spectrum to veg with, then change them to a bulb from the red spectrum for flowering. I am using a mixture of lighting from both spectrums and mine is doing wonderful.

sooo i could use CFL lights and get good results in this dresser? ive been looking at getting 2 100w . or 6 43w cfl just for flower room .

Yeah those would work. You just have to keep a close eye on them because the light need to be real close to the foliage or leaves. You will have to adjust your lights and your plants daily. If you take good care of her, she WILL produce nicely with CFLs.
