Help me get started properly

Hi everyone, I need help with getting going. What I need to know about is how to get plants off to a good start. Heres what I know so far

1. Start seeds in a paper towel inside a ziplock bag and keep it in the dark till it germinates 3-10 days.
2. Plant the germinated seeds in grodan 1.5" mini block.
3. put the 1.5" cubes in a smart tray
4. Transplant the Grodan cubes into 8oz cups with super soil in the bottom, sides and covering the cubes.
5. Transplant the 8oz cups into 3 gallon smart pots for veg and bloom.

Here's my question

1. Once the plant goes into a smart tray should I stick into the grow tent and start my 18/6 light cycles? or will I have to much light and heat?

Here's my setup

Agromax 3x3 x 7 grow tent
NextLight Core grow LED 190 watt
4" fan with carbon filter mounted in the top of the tent
3 gallon smart pots
Great Lakes water only soil
Natures Pride Veg 6-6-3.5
Natures Pride Bloom 2-5.5-5.5
Mighty Bloom Enhancer 0-15-18

Because I consider myself Noob Zero I can only follow suggestions from the grow store goon who recommended the Natures pride stuff and gave me the bloom enhancer free so I dont necessarily know if I want to use them. He said to wait two weeks and them go once a week with the Natures pride, but didnt say anything about the bloom enhancer. I'm interested in any thoughts that cant help me succeed in my first grow session. For anyone wondering why I chose the setup I bought its because that was the only place I could find a 3x3 tent and I thought it looks quality enough. THe Light was on a $540.00 LED that was on sale for $394.00. The soil is because I want to keep things simple. I'm sure I will eventually buy PH, soil moisture, PPM and light meters but I havent got there yet so I could use advice there too.

Thanks in advance

Put the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hours the move to paper towel and ziploc not needed. That light will be great for veg but not enough for flower. Well you can flower with it just wont give you a great yield.
The best thing i ever did was switch to coco. Sure you have to water/feed every days but its still very easy and you know exactly what your feeding your plants.

You don't need nutes with that soil.
Temp/RH meter very cheap on Amazon. With that soil, if you used rainwater you wouldnt necessarily need to pH.

First thanks for the quick reply from everyone so far. So As far as germinating the seeds they come with instruction and guarantee as long as you follow them. That only means they'll sprout. Once they sprout I'll go with your basic dirt seed starter pod from Homer depot. As for lights I'll look around for something to supplement that has more red spectrum for the bloom phase. As far as nutes go, I bought them on the recommendation of the salesman who claimed he used them in his grow which uses the same soil. The bloom enhancer was free, so I plan to save it for later when I feel comfortable enough to experiment and try different grow methods. I haven't really thought much about water yet but I have a PUR water filter on my tap and a gallon of purified water is like 75 cent at the store. I found a PH Meter, TDS PPM Meter, Soil PH Tester, PH/EC Digital Kit, 3 Pack for 25.00 on amazon.

I look forward to any and all comments, so thanks a lot.

Just finished reading the germination guide recommended by Rurumo. I guess it looks/sounds good. It also points to potting soil or rockwool. I like the rockwool route because it recommends watering every 1-2 days which is good for me. They also say its ok to go straight into the tent under a light. So far so good for now, no pete pellets or humidity dome.

Thanks again

if you chose the cubes, its best to poke the seed into it and then germinat it, trying to plant a cracked seed into the blocks could damage it

i remember reading something about 6" deep pots being the ideal size for seedlings as they send out a 5" or 6" tap root and then side roots. i allways start off with 6" pots minimum

Another thing to consider is how many plants you intend to grow. Don't put too many in a 3x3. It will get too crowded very quickly.
Good luck friend!

you should realy keep it simple for your first grow,. less is more with cannabis, but best of luck to you, you came to the right place to learn.
my advice, ask first then buy or do :weed:

Also, I still like paper towels. They help by not wasting time and space, waiting on a dud seed to sprout. But I have gone directly into soil before too. If the roots go off fast and dig into the paper towels (which does happen sometimes) you can just tear the paper and put it into the soil with the seed, don't try to remove it.

The next light core actually does really well in a 3x3.
