i don't know if they do that anymore. they have a "point system" with mandatory minimums now. i can get some time knocked off if i can get accepted and make it thru an in house drug program.any chance they parole you early?
they leave you alone?Keep your nose clean and stay away from gangs. Dont even look at them.
they leave you alone?
Yes an no. If you stay clear of them and their friends you tend to stay out of trouble. Not as much trouble in the federal prisons.State prison is where I had the most trouble with GANGS.

who are you really? So you don't have protect your butthole? I was under the impression that there is a lot of rape that goes on in prison. People force fucking people's colostomies and shit.
Exactly to the point. AmenThe way Federal "Parole" works is simple. You do 85% of your time in prison, and 15% on intensive parole, that'll be followed by your probation. This is what people refer to as "life on the installment plan." You can, even after you've maxed your sentence (served 100% of your time behind bars.) The first few weeks in prison will be the worst. You won't be raped, unless you act like you enjoy being raped. You normally won't have any problems with others, they want to get outta prison, also. Avoid the younger crowd, they are looking to make a name, and they'll beat "pop's ass" to try to get a little cred. That whole "don't take anything from others, or you are there bitch" ... Not true, but, always know what the payback is. If you get a honeybun, know whether it's going to be 1 for 1 or 3 for 1 (normally the "stores" go up closer to canteen draw day, or payday, depending on the setup of your canteen system.) Don't walk around like a badass. Remember, it IS prison, and some of the people you are in with really are criminals. Don't "keep your head down" ... but, don't have your nose up, so you can't see where you're walking, either. I've done a bit of time, and went through a federal extradition... Been there, done that. It sucks, but, the hardest part is the separation. If you do meet someone inside, that becomes a close friend, develop that friendship, ex-cons, especially when they really are done with bullshit, are some of the most loyal and strongest friends you can have.
better food as well. They got thicker mattresses in the Fed!!
spend ur time wisely jo.... http://videosift.com/video/how-to-make-a-fifi-prison-vaginabuttholebetter food as well.
Yeah... No offense, but, worst advise in this series of suggestions by ex-cons. Jail's jail, that's where you go when you have hope. Prison's not jail -- kinda' like driving through a bad suburb vs. wearing red in the 20s LBA... Prisons and jails are a lot different. For instance, in prison, you get to buy (and keep) your razors in your cell. In prison, you can buy a hotpot with which you can make "prison napalm." In prison, they issue you a lock (remember those movies where they put sodas/locks/soap bars in socks, stuffed books in their sleeves and went at people? That's how a "6 month vendetta" is handled in prisons.) Basically, in prison, you are back "on the street" compared to jail; except of course you're locked down, will never aspire to a job that pays minimum wage -- stuff like that.just make a friend,it sucks but its a hell of alot mor fun with someone to talk to. Never been to prison but ive had a few county jail experiences, luckily each time was like a highschool reunion lol. Easy way to tell i was in with the wrong crowd. FORGET the honeybuns and ramen bro....COFFEE... a single 5$ bag of coffee and youll get 20 ramens ,honeybuns, jolly ranchers envelopes and more with coffee to spare. Just a tip: depending on how long you plan on staying dont start too much shit, a single fight leads into a 6 month long vendetta in there lol. Well best of luck to you my friend. Keep your chin up and you'll be out in no time.Look for the trustee program, its bitch work but it has its perks. Oh one last thing, take jolly rancher wrappers and lay them around your rack at night, youll hear all the scavengers crinkling across the floor trying to steal your comisary goodies.
Keep yourself out of trouble and good luck man.
