Help me =[ insomnia

Well here's my situation.

All though my life I've had a job. From 15 when I started smoking, to 17 when our countries leaders took a shit on us.[resssion]

The Whole and ENTIRE reason I started smoking was due to my sleep issues. NEVER been to the doctor to check on it, because I never new until recently that it was an actual illness, I though I was just not eating right, not right sleeping hours, stress, etc.

But now that I'm 18, and can't find a stable job and on NO insurance of any kind[dont knwo where to begin>_>]
As you can imagine, My insomnia is getting BAD. I can only sleep if staying up for 2 or 3 days at a time, until my body litterally shuts itself down. I've for the past week or two, even exceeded 3 days...I can't buy bud, Can't see a doctor,[still have MONTHS until harvest] and don't know what to do.


My family members/close ppl tell me It's because too much is going through my mind when trying to sleep. Thing is, I tell them that sometimes that may be the case, but most of the time I can blank my mind. I'll lie there for hours. all night.

k ima quit rambling. Anybody have any tips as to what options I may have? What can I do?


Any help is SOO GREATFULLY appreciated. This is night #2 im up =[

You need to do something active. Engage in some sort of activity that will tire your body out at the same time keep your mind off of lifes problems. Play softball, go golfing, hiking something active.

i have the same problem. only for me. i have work... sometimes. and my job is very labor some and takes alot out of you. but still am un able to sleep. i lay in bed next to my gf the entire night tossing and turning and maybe get 15 minutes of sleep all night. then get up and go to work. and i feel like crap all day at work. because i was unable to eat anythng or get any kinda sleep. i always figured the same thing. it was maybe because i wasnt eating right. or maybe because of all my bills that just keep pilen on because my job is so random. or maybe because of my irs audit last year. or maybe because of the random bills i get from the irs from my taxs 10 years ago saying they adjusted this and i ow this much more. or my mom fighting cancer for the last 4 years. and just recently it came back. in full force. i could rant on and on as well my friend. and it alot of the situations when i cant sleep. i am also able to clear my mind and think of nothing. and still just lay there. Smoken always helped put me to sleep. but lack of a stable income and a dealer. and plants not being ready for a cupple more months it just keeps getting worse. I to have no insurance my type of job does not provide it so there are no doctors for me. no job benefits. i get my weekly pay check that barely if at all makes ends meat now adays. no raise in 4 years do to shit economy. at one point i was doing fucking amazing. but the lack of raise and the increase in prices and expenses really makes u feel like the next step is a homeless shelter if u cant find away to turn it around.

The economy has slowly gotten abit better and work has picked up. but if its not one thing its another. like this shitty summer and all rain. i dont work when it rains i work outside. so that effects my income. if its to windy to lift walls and there is risk of them falling over or onto us we cant work. if its lightning out we cant work. if it snows out we cant work. most recent one. if are work van breaks down and needs to go into the shop we cant work. i have not worked this weak because are van was broke. and being worked on. well last night the boss got sick of it and took everything and split it all up between all of out trucks. well i get outa bed this morning after another night of no sleep. and guess what its fucking pouring out. im looking at another week with no pay check.

Sure its my fault i went to a trade school and i went to collage for the trade i am in. maybe i should have picked something else. but after 8 years of school for this im kinda boned.

i really feel for you man, im in the same boat, but a good deal older, exercise is the key, but its hard to get motivated, start off walking around looking for guerilla plots, thats all i can manage, but it does help, plus i found several good grow sites, aswell as other ppls grow, i dont touch but its fun watching someone elses progress..

melatonin...get it at the drug store no script required it natural. Takes about 2 hours to work but work it does.

tried it. didnt do anything :-/ i even tried to take 3x the correct amount. my gf got it for me 1 day said it worked for her.
few years ago. i was stuck on the NyQuil night time crap. supprisenly after taken 6 of those big pills every night i would be able to sleep but that has long stopped working

You should google some meditation and relaxation techniques. It will work wonders. So many people do not prepare properly for sleep mode.

Well Foolieo I guess your just fucked. Do push up everytime a Commerical comes on TV..

i just lay in the dark :-( if i turn the tv on then my gf wont be able to sleep. how ever i have tried the work out theory also lol. used to keep a work out bench next to my bed. but i found it just got my adrenalin pumping and it actualy kept me up more. im fucked.

dont work out after youve been in bed, do it like 2 hours before bed. Go for a 5 mile run and then do pushups until you collapse, youll be tired after that.

Same problem.
If have no weed you need to stick to a routine even if it doesnt work for a few nights. So regular exercise during the day, regular eating pattern dont eat if your goin to be goin to bed soon after eg. headin to bed at midnight i would eat after9 or so.
balance diet cut out all the junk food if u do eat that.
lavender helps relax also its cheap put some on your pillow or get incense or something.
most these helped me hope u can get it under control.

Hey. Well thanks for the post +rep. I see I'm not the only one here with this issue! Yours is way worse due to the fact you've gotta support yourself, and a girl. I think so anyway. But yeah,if I had a job today, I'd probably still be fucked, as I would more then likely save it all for a car or a down payment on a studio apartment, etc

I've done the excersize as well >_< 2, 1,3 hours before bed, jogged 2, maybe 3 miles and turn back, and come home to do push ups an sit ups...to tell you the truth, all it does is wake my ass up fully lol >_< I would LOVEEEE it if someone around here was growing so I could watch there progress. Most of my "friends" fucked me over, or moved to LA. So I only know the "Drugged up" kids here. and I can't discuss growing topics with people who's IQ is less then 35...

I have to tell ya though, as of right now if I saw a backyard grow I'd go to there front door and be like AY!!! Talk tah me plz you have sum Ammmazzin' Plants! loll

Hey man, and old friend of mine had what was on your avatar. His grandpa was in the marines and gave it to him! I've tried malatonin as well, but it seems like it has a negative effect because it's an natural occuring hormone in the body. The pills seem to make a tolorence against it.

I told my neigbor to come over,and sock me as hard as he could, in the right place so nothing broken like teeth lol. Well I blacked for a second but it so didn't work lmao:blsmoke: He bought me a smoke[He was laughing so hard I thought his face was gonna explode] and it was 1/8 and he toked it all but the last blunt with me =]

Try relaxing before sleep. A nice bath, maybe some soothing music to sleep to. Does sex make you tired? Try that before sleep if it does.

But yeah, the problem is, I can't drink not 21[18y/o] and when I do it's with buddies. I don't want to become dependent on alcohol as it is one of the best ways to put my ass to bed..My family has a history of alcoholism. Sex isn't
an option as I am single.
