Help Me Solve This Problem (First Grow)

Hey dude even if they aren't great they are certainly better than the last ones you grew so rep for the improvement! This is how you learn and that is what you are doing. Plants look bad but i think the bottom leaves is an overwatering issue, seems real big pots for that size plant and thinking the soil got a lot of nutes in so would not need ferts for a while. Soil holds quite a lot of ferts and only when the roots have filled the pot and eaten it all will you get nute deficiencies. Hold of the ferts and try leaving it a day or two longer in between waterings. See a bit of mag def i think but this is probably more down to it being locked out rather than not supplying enough.

Look the plants look ok considering and i have nothing but love for you since you have grown a better plant than last time so, yer its a long learning curve for you but you have progressed and learnt and thats all anyone is asking.

Let the plant grow is my opinion here, don't add ferts, leave it longer in between waterings and hopefully it will stop drooping so much. Give it time pK and even if this one dosen't work out i am sure the next grow will be even better and soon you will be teaching me how to grow!lol!

Let people dis your plants if they want but at the end of the day they are looking better than your last grow and you are learning a lot everyday, soon you will have no problems but until then just work through these last few things and chill.

Thanks for the pics pK, not easy to post pics here for the whole world to see but you have shown that you can grow and have learnt so i don't see why anyone would want to give your plant any crap. Looking good pK, looking good, take my advice and let her grow. Thanks dude.

Thanks guys this plant looked better like 1 week ago,the weird thing is when they need water they start acting up,i wait like 2 more days n give em water. next thing im doing is a big flush n water then without nutes next watering. I think i will c changes

dump out those pots.

add some more soil to the bottom of the pot. bring the plant up closer to the top of the pot.

use some GOOD soil.

water lightly and let 'em be for a few days.

water every 3 to 4 days.


if you fill those pots with good soil and water properly they should be fine for at least a week or 2 before you need to worry about nutes.


you are simply over watering.

Edit: i have a better way of saying it. learn teh nutrients the plant actualy needs to survive, and how to administer them. dont just buy random fertalizers and think they will work. do some research and learn something if you want to grow good weeds.

BTW you should have started feeding them nutes 2 weeks after the seed came out of the ground or as soon as the clone was rooted..... and every 2-3 waterings after that.

^ this first. without this its just going to rot its roots even more then die.

take FDD's advice. im sure he would make you look like a child if he realy tried. dudes smart and experienced.

oh and just for the record.... 1,300 posts in 4 months, u need an outdoor grow..........

would dirt from mothernature work? i only got miracle gro organic, n i got ffof supposly that was the best but its not. So only choice is im using dirt from outside.

i didnt have money for nutes i could barely affoard the dirt lights mylar paper, next time u can maybe help me out with some money

i've used both miracle grow soil and FF. they both work fine. just back off on the watering.

i wouldn't use soil from outside. it has the potential of carrying pests in it.

filling the pots and raising the plants will give room for the roots to spread out. it will take a week or so for the roots to fill in so you won't need to water much at all.

LOL next time if you dont have enough $$ dont try and grow good weed? you get what you pay for. BTW the list of importance goes like this

#1 space
#2 lights
#3 fertalizer....... not mylar paper.

to grow decent marijuana it takes an investment. of time and money, lots of it. over the past 3 years i have spent well over $10,000 in materials, lights, ballasts, fertalizers, soil, adatives and more..... and all i have is a 5'x5' grow room in my basement...... dont have the $$? then dont get your hopes up.....

20 years ago we had nothing but dirt in the back yard. i can't really go back to "prove it", but you really don't need a lot.

he has everything he needs to grow a decent plant. this thread is about helping the OP, not about satisfying you.

clay thats been amended to loam, or had holes dug in it to put good soil into. its not clay anymore if you put sand in it (its loam...) or amend the soils....... thats not a bash its stating the obvious man..... seriously.....

Yea back in the 70's poeople only had shit to grow in, thats why the average Total Active Cannabinoid levels were around 10% compared to now-a-days where the average street weed has a better % than that (more like 15%). theres a reason todays weed gets you higher...... yea there WAS good weed back then, but it was grown by people who broke ground for what we are doind today, using good soil, good nutrients and giving good love to the plants.

this isn't to satisfy ME. i have NYCD from soma seeds to satisfy ME. its so HE can get a higher canna level than street weed so HE can be satisfied. i dont care WHAT he does or doesn't do. im just actually trying to help someone grow GOOD weed.

I also agree, pK your problem aint ferts or soil or anything but your overeagerness to water. Use more perlite in the next grow and water the soil at the top of the pot slowly so it wicks down to the bottom of the pot instead of like feeding it lots of water in one go, this way the pot gets less bottom heavy and dries.

I already talked to you about cultivating the top inch of soil, this is all important to promote evn drying of the soil.

So i take it Fdd you are gona leave me alone as i ain't bashing no-one.

Pk stop overwatering dude, add no ferts or nothing and lets have more pics in a week to see if the plants are responding to less watering. Thanks dude.

Last post on this thread. I will be watching to see how long it takes Fdd to get pissed off because of the kids inability to learn or comprehend what he is telling him. Can you not already see it he does not LISTEN!! Fdd I am telling you this kid is a lost cause for many people before you have tried to help him but I guess maybe if you treat him like a grandchild and literally grow his weed for him and have infinite patience you might not get frustrated with him but I am betting no.
