Because you're putting his career at risk. You must be young. If he's been in and out of the house for years, then he probably already knows. They train them for that. As long as you don't go commercial, you'll probably be alright. Start dealing, he'll have to do something.

Sounds like a whole lot of trouble for one plant. It is very disrespectful of him, and really, your mom, too. You shouldn't put either of them in that spot. Move the plant to a friends house. Seriously, it's not worth the damage you can cause all the way around.
