I started this lady in January out doors untill it grew too big and the neighbors could see it at about 4 1/2 feet. I then put it inside with some clones I bought a while back, and I've already seperated it into thirds once because it got about 8 feet tall inside the house. These thirds continue growing and now they're almost the same size as the first plant! I'm about 2 1/2 weeks into flowering them and my other ladies, shown in the back, have started to focus on bud production, this fucking Master Kush plant however, is budding, BUT FUCKING GROWING LIKE A WEED! (no pun intended)

Help me :( I don't want to top it, because I heard that can effect my yield, but the thirds of this plant are all reaching 8 feet and I'm running out of room between the light and my cieling. Bending it maybe? If so, please tell me the best way to do it.... thanks for your help and time! Smoke one!

Mine are growing quick in flower stage..I plan on putting a large wire mesh over them..My "highest" peaked stems I plan on letting her(s) dry out just a bit and bending under the mesh exposing the flower's and tring not to let the huge leaves block the light to the underlings...

Right or wrong? I dunno..still reading myself...but all the searches I did point to a SOG type grow at the point...

So much to learn for this n00b (me!)

since you've already went to bud and are seeing flowers its too late to supercrop (which in order to not stunt growth during flower needs to be done 2 weeks prior to 12 12) but you can defiantly gently bend and tie down the upper parts of the plants to even out the canopy and since you are relatively early in flower it will greatly benefit your yield just make sure its even(the canopy) best you can at least

Yeah bro...tying her down will be your easiest solution. You don't even have to bend her over for fully doggy style

Using your hand grab the top and bend her over to see how she takes it. That is basically where you want to start with your first tie down (that angle). After a week or so of that she should bend over even more.

I disagree that it is too late to suppercrop. She will continue to stretch for the next few weeks while the buds are developing. If this happens you will then raise your light to make sure not to burn the top. All the lower buds will then not have enough lite to produce good buds. I would FEM and Suppercrop now. FEM will stop the stretch and suppercropping will add strength to hold the buds. I gently pinch all the way down the plant which will cause her to spend a couple of days repareing the brooses. It shouldnt take too much away from your yield. You are in trouble anyway. You should have started flowering about three weeks earlier. Most people forget that even though you start flowering your girl will continue growing. I've had some strains almost tripple in size. Im sure some will disagree with me but Ive been in your possition when I first started and there are a lot of lessen to learn. Good luck.

I agree with Farmeryoda, as I'm going to be in the same situation as you, though I have better options I think as my ceiling is almost 10 feet. I went out of state for 3 weeks and had my wife feeding them, when I got home they were an average of 42 inches, so as I'm sure you can imagine I started flowering immediately and on the first morning of flower I picked up 2 and a half inches! I've got alot of room so hopefully everything will be ok, and thats with 600 watts HPS at 12 inches, if I have to at the end I'll switch to flourescents which is always an option, as it will slow their climb considerably, on the other hand more is not bad, just means a lot more attention needed. Or throw her knees back like the dirty little girl she is, which will help the center vegitation as well, good luck bro...

simply bend her. I had the same problem, read my journal, it explains in detail.

u could just lay her on her side then all branches would grow towards the light makin multiple colas and taking your height problem and turning it into a benefit of length..

never to late to super crop. its too late to top how ever.. just pinch her slightly on both sides of the stem. and bend her a bit. tie her down to that angle. and use painters tape at the bend if needed... dont worry. she will heal fast. and ur stem will be alot stronger.

no pain, no gain

Don't damage the stem bending it. Just bend gently and slowly. Here's a poor example (see drawing) of what I would do, so the colas continue to grow and get the strongest light. See my grow for more examples of LST in flower, and leave a comment if you like...

Try this:

in my opinion best thing 2 do is tie them down will stop the plant from focusing on vertical growth and will bush out and fatten up

So you basically broke much of the root system bending it at the soil :cuss:

When you could've just tilted the container

I would expect 2 weeks stunted growth

They were bent slowly over a period of time... they are not planted in concrete... its loose soil. they are fine. flowering up nicely.. but anyways, LST is your main option. It will work out.

Cheers
