Help me with what soil in pots (5 gal)

Okay I gots some seeds spouted and moved them to some small cups with generic potting soil.

I want to veg and flower outside in ~5gal pots. (I know its late)

What is the best setup? What should I buy and how should I layer everything for best drainage, growth, health and general well being of the plants?

I did some searches but it was overwhelming while sifting thu everything (this board is a victim of its own success!)

Even dummies like me can grow perfectly healthy plants in strait Fox Farm Ocean Forest.
