Help Me

I will be growing an auto ak for now in a in a DWC using a 5 gallon bucket. I have a free sour cream and LA woman as well for the future to look forward to. I got my nutes in the mail today. I got Sensi grow and bloom. I'm not sure how to read the labels. I know I am supposed to add them separately but I am not sure how much to add. I know I'm supposed to use less at first then add more as time goes on. There should only be 2 or 3 gallons of water in the bucket..maybe less. PPM stands for parts per million? Agressive feeding? Also, after germination in rockwool, should I put the rockwool at the bottom of the netted pot so the roots can reach the water/nutes then pull it up in the hydroton as the roots grow longer? I realize I am a noob because i am using a 150 and 100 cfl lights with a tin foil lined box around it...not trying to pay 160ish dollars for hps. But please help a brother out.

go to grow faqs see what u can find there,u should start the solution at 0.5 EC,leave a little bit of space betwen the pot and water so the roots can hang in it,if need be u can water from above just to start it off

whoa checked out the faqs to read a lot of jargon on conversions and all this..i thought u just measure out a certain amount per gallon and put it in..can anyone put ppm and ec's in lay man's terms for me? I think i need another kind of meter? Can someone recommend a cheap one that will work? And give me an idea of what i hafta do to it?

i cropped alot of plants and i dont have those meters.. i still check my ph with liquids lol... i just follow the instructions on the box... im no scientist ya know

by looking at the instructions i dont know how much to put in though..

i cant tell by the labels how much to use though..it says how much tsp./gal for 600 PPM, 800 PPM ,1000 PPM (etc) Do you measure the PPM after you put the solution in? this isnt making sense to me. someone help please

You can grow without a EC meter, it just takes some good estimation skills. Usually, its no nutes first week, 25% for the next 2 weeks, 50% for next two and so on. If you see signs of deficiency, increase quicker. If your leaves are dark green & slightly burned at the tips your over nuting. I'm in my first grow but if you learn to read the plants, you can get by without a meter.

so, 25% of the recommended dosage of the smallest PPM shown? It shows 600 PPM as the smallest PPM and says to use 1.38 tsp./gallon. So i should use .345 tsp/gallon? this doesnt seem right i hate this
