HELP! Need an answer to ventilation question

Ok here it is..... If you are running a cooltube in a growtent bringing in cool air from outside the tent then exhausting it out w/ a carbon filter hooked up to the whole ventilation system, then how does the carbon filter clean the air in the tent? Seems to me like it would just be cleaning the air thats coming directly through it? then again, idk hell lol need answers!!

You would not have the carbon scrubber on the cooltube.. The tube would have a fresh air intake and outtake on the tent..

Then you get a carbon filter and put a fan atop it and stick it in your room to scrub the air in the tent.

Thanks , that makes sense.... I've seen people with everything hooked up together though, do you know anything about this? Just didnt want to have to run 2 fans if I didnt have to ya know

Are you trying to bring in fresh air? or do you have a co2 setup?

im bringing in fresh air from outside pulled through the light and exhausted out the tent

put it on the end of your outtake

hmm.. you can have the filter in the tent, push air through one end of the light and hook the other end of the light through the wall of the tent... You'll need a passive air intake, but tents come with those, don't they?

@doobered if I put it on the end of my exhaust will it actually be cleaning the air in the tent? & if so how? @tommy yea it comes with a pass. intake, sounds like it should work, heres a quick diagram i just drew up of the setup without the filter

when you start areply, go down and click "go advanced"...
then on that screen is a manage attachments thing... you use that to upload files...
then you drag them down and attach them...

i just learned that method an hour ago..

the other way is to put a pic on a website like picasa and just click the photo link thing to put in the web link...

i don't know if that makes sense.. i just put up 8 1/2 gallon jars of white widow..
about to smoke some trainwreck to wake up..lolzz
