HELP needed ASAP

So....i had some bug problems during flowering.
I was 4 weeks into flowering when i decided i needed something a little bit more powerful to rid my plants of the EVIL spider mites that had decided to make home on my plants

A friend of mine picked me up a bottle of Westlands Plant Rescue for ornamental plants....like a dick i didnt read the bottle....just assumed it would be ok to use.

Now heres my problem....i sprayed my plants with this stuff...i used 1/3 of a bottle over 3 flowering plants, which were in flower (4 weeks)

I tried to avoid the buds as much as possible, as i have always done this regardless of what i was spraying on. I usually use Neem oil, but this didnt work this time for some reason.

Granted....this stuff kills everything on the plant and stops the eggs from hatching BUT after some reading ive heard that it contains something called Thiamethoxam @ 0.1g/l
This stuff can apparently stay in the plant for up to 12 weeks.
Its now 6 weeks since i sprayed the plants and they were cropped last week, they are currently drying.

Do you think its safe to smoke or do you think i should bin 5oz of haze???
Im tempted to try a joints worth and see if it had any adverse effects on myself...my logic is.....

its so diluted that you could drink the whole bottle without dying from posioning. The whole bottle contains 0.1g of this stuff....so i would have sprayed on 0.03g over 3 plants 1 of which i threw in the bin due to it being completly ruined (cheese) I used this one plant as a sacrifice lol...let the bugs eat that one

I cant find a lot of info on this....ive been looking for about a week The bottle says dont breathe the spray and to wear gloves....neither of which i did when i sprayed them and im still alive with no problems.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated....id hate to have to throw it all away as this is probably my best grow ever...the buds are nearly pure crystal lol You cant see the green for the trichomes

Smoke away !!!!!! I am having little bug issues but im in VEG STILL. SO IM GIVING MY PLANTS A NICE FOLIAR FEED OF POISON. NUKING THE BASTARDS. ILL BE DAMNED THEY ARE THEIR WHEN 12/12 HITS. POISONING THEM DAILY> SCREW THEIR OFFSPRING !

HAHA sometimes nuking the fuckers is the only way to get rid of them
Neem oils alright....but it doesnt keep them away...yea its safe but doesnt always work

Ive got 15 plants on the go at the mo....sprayed them with this stuff...BUT they were in veg so i know i have the 12 weeks for it to pass through

Wont be using this stuff again in flower...especially if i end up braindead after smoking a joint hahha

Im still trawling the internet to find out if its safe or not...it would be such a shame to have to bin it. On the other hand i could just keep it for another 6 weeks curing and drying, that way the 12 weeks would elapse?

As the buds are no longer attatched to the stems, or leaves this stuff should in theory evaporate off like the chlorophyll and other nasties. Its systemic....so i assume it needs moisture in order to stay in the plant

Im tempted to call up westlands and ask their advice lol....from a payphone of course

water cure the lot and break even i say....

it is still salvageable...being greedy and having peace of mind at this point is perfectly justifiable.

Fk ditching it. JUST DONT SELL IT IF YOU GIVE A DAMN. if you flushed it. Smoke it.

Haha na man wouldnt sell this if its going to harm anyone....i dont mind being the guinea pig, and 5oz is bugger all really....maybe a months supply for me haha

I flushed for 3 weeks...not continually obviously lol, i fed water for the final 3 weeks
Probably give it another week and then give it a go....if im not here in a couple of weeks you will know that it is dangerous lol

That is what I was going to suggest. If you want it clean and clear. Water cure them for sure. Not worth risking your health over.

Dont water cure it. thats more trial and error. imho. just cure it properly and enjoy

ahhhh no worries guys....just read up on how to do it lol....does it really work?? I may give it a go for a few days....just store in water right...try not to move them about and then dry them with a fan blowing and a dehumidifier??

That sounds like a bad idea Imho. soaking bud in water. and letting it air dry. you might be smoking a much more lethal product if a nice colony of bacteria grow on it.

yeah...water curing actually takes a fair amount of attention.

me, i did a trial run. with properly cured buds.
sank it with a clip attached to the stem and avoided all the debate on smashing them down.
every time the water smelled funny it was carefully drained and replaced.
funny...changing water every 8 to 10 hours never grew anything that i could tell
filtering the run off yielded nothing for me
day 3 the buds no longer floated
by day 7 there was no odor.
they hung in my grow cab roughly 8 hours and were dried to perfection
people wouldn't steal this shit from me if i showed em it.

they are only good for stealth smoking, edibles, and hash/oil imo...quite useful.

I just read that it makes the bud nasty looking and has no taste or smell to it. And can also increase the risk of mould and other things
I only ever smoke my bud...so this is probably not a good idea for me

Do you think if i freeze my bud in the freezer....and let it unfreeze and evaporate off...then do it again for a few days...would this extract these chemicals quicker?? When they freeze, its only the water content...with all the nasty stuff in that freezes...when this evaporates this should get rid of anything in it?? Especially if i do until there is no water content...ie 3 - 4 days in and out of the freezer?? and then a normal dry?? I would obviously use a dehumidifier encase theres any mositure left in them which could mould

No let it sit. youll be fine. cure it the normal way
