Help needed guys

I found a good controller that runs off temp. For example, you set the temp you want the room to be at and if it gets warmer than the set temp the fan turns on... I'm a firm believer in constant air movement... Maybe put your cool tube on a separate controller... When the light is on run the fan obviously to keep your hood cool... And run the carbon filter 24/7 just for air movement. My 2 cents... I leave 3 fans on constantly just to make sure I have good circulation. GL man! Sounds like you'll be just fine!
Okay then so run the fan on the cooltube when the light is on drawing out heat. Got that. Where do you find those controllers to set temps would like to have a look at that? And yeah i was thinking of running two controlers one each fan. Should i run my carbon filter flat out or half speed? Also ill run a desk fan as well to help push air around.

I run filter, ducting, cool tube, ducking, exhaust fan, vent.

Passive air intake.

Circulating fan or two in the tent.

O..and Gday!

Right ill have a look at fan speed controlers tomorrow i have a hydro shop not far from me. So how can you tell when you have enough negative pressure in your grow room? Will i create negative pressure using 4 inch fan and filter? Oh and g'day to you too lol

The sides of the tent will concave in when its shut up and running. You only want the sides to slightly concave..not try to squash the frame..lol.
You should do, neg pressure is just more air trying to escape than can get in.

BTW we have an aussie thread https://www.rollitup.org/t/aussie-growers-thread.250691/

Ill have a look at that thread now be a good read..and okay sweet just needed to know before buying a 4 inch extraction system and realising i needed bigger cheers mate!

Im not sure of the size of your tent or your climate. Talk to you local shop and get the biggest you can afford. You can always tailor the air flow to the size of the grow room and the temp.
Bigger fans can be run slower and will be quieter than a smaller fan being run flat out.
You may also get right into growing and want to upgrade, decent fans are not cheap and last for years.

Hey mate i built a light trap today and am waiting for it to dry from painting it black. Should work well. I have another question. Will a 4 inch carbon filter and fan be enough for heat extraction? Considering i plan to run a alternate 6 inch fan for the cooltube alone? So total is two fans one 6 inch and one 4 inch both on fan speed controlers.
Yeah should be fine man. A 6" turned down will be quieter though. So depends what price you can get either for.
You want a variac to control speed or anything which uses a variable transformer. They step the voltage down which means they wont make an annoying hum noise that cheap speed controllers do. You could use one speed controller for both fans. Just check the amps on the fans and get one that can handle both.

Have to say, Luke will be able to offer better advise than I regarding your situation, been an Aussie n all. Perhaps its best you check in with some of your fellow Aussies who deal with similar climate. Me been in England what I deal with is very different.

Yeah that makes sense man ill hit him up and see what he says as well. And if i get one speed controler to run both fans wont that change both fans at the same time? I was thinking the two speed controlers would be better then i can adjust them separate for negative pressure and heat through the cooltube

You want one fan on always for negative pressure... Keep the stink going through the carbon filter at all times and out the tent.

I used my speed controller for 4 days... Then once I started running all my lights and had everything going I removed it and just ran full speed... Better air movement... More fresh o2...

I would just go filter - - > cooltube--> ducting and out from there... Leave that guy on 24/7
