help needed quite quickly

im going to start a grow an i am in the process of buying equipment of which will go soon if i dont buy it now basicly

going for a hps setup. couple of questions

i have seen a 600w ballast for 15 uk pounds (is this a good deal as i think it is), ballast is a Century Growsystems 600 watt ballast for son/t-nav/t growlamps


will above be enough? is it ok? its going in a 1m x 1m x 3 room, 5 plants

do the dual spectrum bulbs really work or is it best to swith them over as needed?

the ballast doesn t come with any wires, what wire do i need to buy to connect it to the hps bulb

im in uk and want to know what nutes people use over here.

15 pounds seems cheap. Used?

Should work fine for the size.
You will need a socket and wiring
Might need igniter and cap if the ballast doesn't come with it (most do)

A hanger and a reflector are also in order. I made my reflectors out of some perforated metal and aluminum flashing.

Bulb? That is a large debate, like whats the right *religion*.
A MH conversion bulb and a HPS works fine.
Dual spectrum? I dunno. Will leave that to others.

600 watt ballast for hps growlamp on eBay, also Hydroponics, Plants Seeds Bulbs, Garden Plants, Home Garden (end time 04-May-08 22:27:58 BST)

thats it, he does have more i think, can anyone tell me what i need now, links would be great, i know i need cable , socket and hanger/reflector do i need an ignitor and cap?
